Today we are making calendars. They seem to be going very well – however with a few technical problems i.e the printer!!
The calendars will be priced at £5.00 and you will be able to purchase them from the Fetlar Shop. You will also be able to order them and we will post them to you for £6.00.
Lots of nice photos from across the isle. We think that in these times of money tigthening you won't get a better offer than this!
For each one that we sell we are giving 50p to CLAN house in Aberdeen.

That's good news, FS. I have your 2008 calendar in front of me as I type, I've been using it all year as my desk calendar/diary. Plenty of space to write in! I'll definitely be placing an order - when can we do this?

Very good! Would you give us more information as to what CLAN house is doing? Not recording the history of tartans, I presume.

CLAN House (Cancer Link Aberdeen and North) is where Shetlanders, Orcadians and people from rural Aberdeenshire can stay, for £20 per night, when attending/visiting cancer wards in ARI. A truly wonderful place and well worth all the fundraising efforts. You never know the day...

PETIT chat? Have you had a chance to weigh its tail? Air pilots have been known to land at the wrong airport, as well as take off (or attempt to) from the wrong runways. Why should sea farers be different? Instead of Stornoway or Stavanger, next year, Barney might just end up somewhat disoriented in Savannah, Georgia. If you do, give me a call, and I shall drive over to take you to the best fried chicken and biscuits in town.

Mjc, I am as usual puzzled by your erudition. In other words I can't make head or tail of the ingress of your latest contribution. What is the connection between a cat's tail, or its weight, and the behavious of aeroplane pilots? As to the chances of ending up in Savannah or Georgia, that sounds just gorgeous and kind of you indeed to grant such an invitation! Isn't it rather a long way from S. Indiana "...to the sea"? Wait - now I get it - it's not the tail wagging the aeroplane, it's mjc wagging me! What cheek.
