Despite an ever increasing following they always insisted that it was not a church but purely a group of friends meeting together. After several years and with ever increasing numbers, Frank and Suzanne eventually had to face the fact that what they had before them was indeed a church.

Together with their friends Tony and Mary they went on to oversee the restoration of the burnt out Rumours nightclub in Wellington into what is now the House of Prayer, a thriving new church and drop in centre.

Frank insists that to this day it remains unlike a church and is more like a large family coming together to celebrate their faith.

Frank, who is 72 and Suzanne who is 65 say they feel younger today than they did in their 30s and 40s and show no sign of winding down in life, indeed Frank says that following a powerful meeting with the mysterious Irishman he spoke about, he believes he will live well into his 90s to oversee what is probably his greatest ministry yet.听听听
