On Friday 2nd March, presenters from across network radio took part in The Sport Relief Radio Assault challenge.
They weren't told their times at the end of the grueling 1-mile course and listeners were asked vote for their favourite presenter to win valuable minutes shaved off their final times from Monday 5 – Thursday 8 March.
The presenter with the most votes would have 7 minutes taken off their total time, through to 1 minute taken off for the presenter who received the least.
And this is how the voting worked out...
7 minutes - Radio 3’s Tom Service
6 minutes - 5 Live’s Rachel Burden
5 minutes - Radio 2’s Matt Williams
4 minutes - Radio 4’s Jane Garvey
3 minutes - Asian Network’s Tommy Sandhu
2 minutes - 6Music’s Shaun Keaveny
1 minutes - 1Xtra's Gemma Cairney
And what difference did that make to the overall times?
Well here are the final results overall in reverse order:
In 7th place Jane Garvey, 6th Matt Williams, 5th Gemma Cairney, 4th Tommy Sandhu, 3rd Shaun Keaveny, 2nd Rachel Burden and 1st is Tom Service.
So it's congratulations to Tom Service and the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio 3 listeners!

The DJ's have done their hard mile and now it’s your turn. on Sunday 25th March to do a 1, 3 or 6 mile run – or just walk!
Remember, just 40p could pay for a child in Uganda to be tested for malaria so they can get a quick diagnosis and receive the life-saving treatment they desperately need 50p could buy a nourishing meal for a child living on the streets in Nepal.
70p could allow a woman experiencing domestic abuse to reverse the charges on a call to a help line so she can get the support she needs to get to safety. £1 could provide a hot meal for a child in the UK living in extreme poverty.
on 25th March and do your bit.
