"There are always decisions you have to make in your life."

Transcript

"There are always decisions that you have to make in your life. I was in my last year in school and I hadn't decided what I wanted to do next once I left school. I didn't have any idea what I could do next. Then one night my step brother came over and he asked me if I had decided what lay ahead for me. I said I hadn't decided what I wanted to do yet. He said that I should decide now rather than wait til the last minute to decide. Then he asked me what do I like doing. I said I like computers. He said, "there you go, you should go to college and enrol on to a computer course."

School was ok but I could not wait to leave. A few weeks before I was finishing school I was given an enrolment form to fill in to enrol on to my college course. My step brother also mentioned that computer jobs pay a lot of money. Mm, sounding better and better.

When I decided I was going to school to study computers, I was really looking forward to going to college. I knew it was a lot bigger than my school and that I was leaving behind a school that I wasn't going to miss. Also I knew that you could wear your own clothes and not have to wear a shirt, tie and jumper - I was fed up of school uniform.

I've been at college for nearly two years now and in my first year I was on the ICT foundation course and I passed no problem. Now I am in the middle of my second year on the intermediate course. If I pass this course, I would like to go on to the next level and hopefully find a job somewhere or go on to university.

Here we go again, more decisions!"
