Colonel Gaddafi has again appeared on state TV making a defiant speech saying his people will take up arms if a no-fly zone is imposed by Western nations or the UN, as many of the rebels have been calling for. It's an option actively being discussed by the US and UK, although only with UN backing. France is also backing Britain's push for a no-fly zone.

The libyans have to be careful and be weary of the intentions of the libyans in exile. Look what happened in iraq, on account of one liar who hated saddam, the usa invaded iran,, now the guy has confessed. Why can people wiser? The west does like muslims and all these are done to fight islam, and nothing else. If libyans have issues amongst themselves let them sort it out. It is true that Gadafi has overstayed, but removing him does not mean we must destroy libya and all what libyans stand for. Ibrahim. Freetown.
