Imogen, very disappointed that three of the best parts/presenters of the 5Live day were ignored in an otherwise excellent series, thank you for coordinating this series.

Yes, Wake Up to Money and Morning Report. I think WUtM is an excellent programme but probably it is produced, edited and presented by the same little team of people so doesn't count with Imogen and the 5 Live Bloggers.

WUtM is a brilliant little programme, just like Rhod's UAN it gets little mention and deserves a wider audience. At least there is the WUtM podcast.

You have Roland Buerk, Damian Grammaticus, one or two others I have seen and heard since the Japanese earthquake, so why on earth send a Breakfast presenter whose main job is to laugh at Nicky and read scripts?

So Shelagh is in Tokyo, 300 kilometres from where the most news is coming from. When there are so many Ö÷²¥´óÐã people on the ground nearer to the place, why is she there? So far she is adding nothing to our knowledge, she has a delay on the line between her and people in Japan she is attempting to interview, and one for example, near Sendai, didn't add one thing to what I can find out sitting in the UK. Could someone answer why she is there? It's lovely to hear how nice and friendly the Japanese are, I could tell you that is how they would behave to a foreign visitor, so what else Shelagh? And could she drop the tweets business as the basic nature of the stuff being tweeted is driving a news mad person like me distracted, in depth yes, superficial +++ no.

Jim Naughtie of Today is in Sendai, having driven from Tokyo, and is doing a great job reporting. (Maybe Shelagh should have asked for a lift.)

Spot on as ever Carrie. Someone decides to get a presenter on a plane and it's only when he/she gets there they realise there's little or no point in them being there. The twitter obsession just shows what a bubble these people live in. 'Normal' people - the listener - are simply not as obsessive. It's a Ö÷²¥´óÐã thing (or a London media thing) that highlights just how out of touch they are with the audience. Sad really.

How I agree with Carrie - forced on to Radio Four because the dreaded Rachel Burden was on Five Live with her awful voice I listened to Jim Naughtie and was reminded what real journalism is! So when Rachel is forced upon us in May at least I have somewhere to go. I keep five live on all night and the only problem is switching over in the dark to radio four at six a.m. One thing I don't understand is how the Ö÷²¥´óÐã can force Brian Cox to lower the music in Wonders of the Universe because people can't hear his voice when the same institution is choosing someone as incomprehensible as rachel Burden. Could you answer this Ms Crump please?

How on earth do you put forward a blog topic on this site? Well, here goes? How about one concerning the hype concerning this Olympic tickets nonesense that has been going on today?

Athletics/swimming etc are at best minority sports in this country. Witness the lack of spectators for normal events. Most UK athletes seem to boycott events by all accounts because they are (permanently) injured, And we are spending millions building the biggest waste of money complex in the world to host a few week event? Last one was at the White City. This one at the White Elephant?

And now the Olympic countdown clock has conked out!
