Sound of 2011: Celebrity Secret Santa

For some reason, best known to absolutely nobody (not even myself), I decided to do a ‘5 Live Rock Star Secret Santa’.
Possibly in a bid to create something to act as a very un-secretive visual gift to promote my 5 Live festive programme: ‘The Sound of 2011’. Which is all about the music of 2011. I kid you not. Or maybe to demonstrate that it’s not just a certain Italian footballer that is (allegedly) capable of random acts of kindness under the guise of ‘Santa’.
And I like to think that the latter at least has been achieved here.
On a roll, I even attempted to demonstrate that it’s not just a certain Italian footballer that is (definitely) capable of struggling to put a bib on, but it turns out that it actually is.
Back to the Secret Santa and perhaps you’re wondering who these stars of the rock that I speak of actually are? Perhaps you’re not? Well either way, step forward…, , and, ahem, .
Watching this video you shall see the aforementioned happily dishing out presents to strangers (Olly Murs) whilst tenuously and occasionally quite blatantly plugging themselves.

There’s lots more from them in the radio show as well. Gene Simmons will be running the rule on the 2011 (obviously), the is summed up by none other than Canadian rockers , while Olly Murs returns as our economics expert. Warning - don’t get him started on the price of chocolate bars.
´¡±ô²õ´Ç…, , , and legends like and will all be talking about music. Occasionally.
Jamie Stangroom's Sound of 2011 is at 6pm on Christmas Eve on 5 live
