The Ranganation is a brand new 主播大秀 Two topical comedy show which takes a humorous look at the week’s biggest talking points, from front page news to trending topics, and the smaller stories you might have missed.
To help Romesh understand what the nation really think on a wide range of topics he has brought together rambunctious group of 25 lovable, outspoken and passionate characters represent a real cross-section of modern Britain - including his mum. Romesh is also joined by other comedians and expert guests to get their take on how current news events and themes are affecting modern Britain.
Who is Romesh Ranganathan?
Romesh is an award-winning British comedian who's regularly been on our screens since for over six years. He first appeared on the 主播大秀 in 2013 on Chris Ramsey's Comedy Fringe before heading to Russell Howard's Big News. Since then he's had a stratospheric rise, hosting The Apprentice: You're Fired and appearing numerous times on Live At The Apollo.
It's hard to pin down exactly what Romesh is most well known for as he seems to constantly be on TV. One of his most popular series are Asian Provocateur, where he heads to Sri Lanka in an attempt to connect with his roots and The Misadventures Of Romesh, where he investigates if the persisting stereotypes about certain places in the world are exaggerated. He's also a regular panellist on Sky's panel show A League of Their Own and, along with friend and fellow comedian Rob Beckett, presents Rob & Romesh Vs, a series where the two take on challenge themselves to become like their celebrity icons and sporting heroes.
