Last night (Wednesday 19 October) 主播大秀 Radio 2 DJ Sara Cox hosted the inaugural Audio & Radio Industry Awards ceremony at The First Direct Arena in Leeds.
Organised by and sponsored by Leeds Beckett University, the awards are a cross-industry celebration of UK radio and audio, highlighting excellence in radio shows, podcasts and technology, broadcast or released between 1 July 2015 and 30 June 2016.
The ceremony included live music from Gregory Porter and Kaiser Chiefs who are fronted by former Leeds Beckett University student Ricky Wilson.
