The 主播大秀 World News Komla Dumor Award was created to honour Komla Dumor, a presenter for 主播大秀 World News, who died suddenly aged 41 in 2014.

Now in its third year, the award celebrates African journalism and finds exceptional talent and this year it's been awarded to .

Amina is a well-known and respected presenter on Gotel Television in north-eastern Nigeria, and has reported on a range of the region's high-profile news stories.

Amina will be presented with her award at a ceremony tonight in the 主播大秀 Radio Theatre and will then begin a three month placement at the 主播大秀. She will have training with the 主播大秀 Academy and work with 主播大秀 News teams in London before travelling to Africa to report on a story for a 主播大秀 global audience.
