What? You've never seen it? OK then, here's a bit of background...

Mortimer And Whitehouse: Gone Fishing follows comedic royalty Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse as they travel to picturesque fishing spots across the UK.

The idea for the show started after Bob Mortimer had a triple heart bypass and Paul, who himself has had a number of stents put in, decided to help him get out of the house and take him fishing. In each episode the pair head off to do a new location, with Paul taking the role of teacher and Bob irritating him as much as possible, while also cooking up some heart-healthy meals and arranging the accommodation.

The friends talk about everything, from their childhoods, to things they can't have anymore (cheese and biscuits mostly) as well as life and the effect their health scares have had on them.

Who are Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse?

Of course you know who they are but, you know, we need to stick to format...

Bob Mortimer. Bob's famous as one half of irreverent comedy duo Vic and Bob with shows such as Shooting Stars. He's also a favourite on comedy panel show Would I Lie To You?

Paul Whitehouse. Paul shot to fame starring in the comedy sketch series The Fast Show with Harry Enfield and Charlie Higgins. He also starred in another sketch show with Enfield, Harry and Paul.
