A quick round up of what's new this week on 主播大秀 iPlayer, programmes that are about to become unavailable, plus some hidden gems you might have missed.

Top Gear
After a nail biting Christmas special, Top Gear is racing back for season 28 where Chris Harris will be joined again by Freddie Flintoff and Paddy McGuinness. New series available from Sunday 26 January.

Man Like Mobeen
Series 3 picks up after the cliffhanger at the end of the last series, returning to Small Heath now that Mobeen’s life has been turned upside down. New series available from Sunday 26 January, plus first two series available now.

The Windermere Children
August, 1945. A coachload of children arrive in England. They are child survivors of the Nazi Holocaust. Arriving with only their clothes, they bear the emotional and physical scars of all they have suffered. Available from Monday 27 January.

Winterwatch
The wildlife extravaganza Winterwatch returns, kicking off the year in the depths of winter in one of the toughest places in the country for our animals. Available from Tuesday 28 January.

Shrill
Series 2 picks back up with journalist Annie who continues to live her life without playing down to society’s expectations of her as a fat woman. Series 2 available from Sunday 26 January, and series 1 available now.

 

King Gary
The trials and tribulations of ‘geezer diva’ Gary King and his childhood sweetheart Terri, as they aspire to achieve success in competitive suburbia.

Jonestown: Terror In The Jungle
Two-part Storyville documentary. Why did Jim Jones, a charismatic American preacher and leader of the People's Temple, compel his members in 1978 to perform 'revolutionary suicide' in northern Guyana?

A Life On Screen: Hugh Grant
Hugh Grant tells the story behind his success, after being honoured with the Best Actor award at the Baftas for his performance in Four Weddings and a Funeral. Available until Saturday 25 January.
