Ö÷²¥´óÐã

Well, isn't this a wee bit class. Yet another place for myself, Hamill, McClean & Bell to spout our total nonsense (and the occasional bit of sense), as if TV and radio wasn't enough!

Which frankly, it isn't.

On behalf of ATL producer Paul McClean, ATL dance presenter Paul Hamill, myself and our residant brainiac Warren Bell, welcome to the ATL Blog.

We're all dead excited about this! The idea is to pack this blog full of a nice balance of relevant information and whatever nonsense is on our mind. There'll be pointers to new Irish music we're loving, maybe some classic stuff... basically, the best of the tuneage we pimp out every week on our lovely radio show.

While it'll mostly be about, you know... the music... we're also planning on linking to our favourite daft websites and maybe the odd funny youtube clip - whatever is on our mind that may be of interest. We'll also be giving you a heads-up on the best local gigs as soon as they come to our attention, so if you subscribe to an RSS feed of this Blog you might find yourself closer to the front of the queue for tickets than you were before. And, of course, we've a few ideas for some other bits and bobs we'll be including on a semi-regular basis, but that's all top-secret at the minute. Mainly because we don't know yet what they'll be.

Most important of all though, is your input!

You can comment on any of the blogs and we're really hoping you do so! If you think we're talking gibberish - say so! To do so, you'll need to register via the Ö÷²¥´óÐã's Single Sign On system. The best instructions can be found on the iPM blog, but it means that, as well as being able to join in the larks here, you can also contribute to a host of other Ö÷²¥´óÐã Blogs and services. Well worth the couple of minutes and thinking up yet another witty password we reckon.

If there's something you think we can help you with - either via the blog or just in general - say so! If you'd like us to track down a specific track, a setlist from a gig or if you want the inside information on the movements of some - say so!

If you've ideas for stuff we should cover or you want to tell us about your own band - well, this is as good a place as anywhere to do it.

The idea is that every Thursday or FridayÌýwe'll have our WEEKLY BIG BLOG, which will include updates about our favourite bands and what's happening with ATL and across the music scene in Northern Ireland and a few other weekly treats. After that, expect at least two or three random blogs every week, depending on what's happening or just what's on our mind.

So, look out for the first blog proper, and some random posting, sometime next week.
