What's Going Down:

Artist:
Title: Cafe Locco (Fog Mix)
Label: Clarisse Records
Why We Need This Record: Sheffield duo Evans & Waterfall are continually pushing the boundaries with Cafe Locco. There are three remixes available, this one comes courtesy of Greek producer Fog. This track is a brilliant fusion of deep and spaced out beats which should make a big impact on a dance floor. Look out for more tunes to come form this duo as 2010 is shaping up to be a massive year for them.

Artist: , ft. Julia Biel
Title: Bright star (Sunrise Mix)
Label: Buzzin Fly Records
Why We Need This Record: To celebrate the 50th single release of Buzzin Fly records, Stimming teams up with fellow label mate vocalist Julia Beil and pioneer of Buzzin Fly Ben Watt. ÌýBright star is presented in two different formats the sunset & sunrise mixes, available as both digital and a deluxe 12" vinyl limited edition. The sunrise mix is more appropriate for the dance floor as it strips back the vocals and underpins a deep groove with a fat bass, never the less the sunrise mix is soothing for the soul.

Artist: Ray Mang
Title: Look Into My Eyes
Label: DFA
Why We Need This Record: Mang delivers two superb disco tracks on DFA, the B-side being the more laid back mid tempo of the two. Look into my eyes is a delightful combination of psychedelic disco and Latin groove. Perfect warm-up selection, I can't get enough of this track.
