What Happened: In true festival style,ÌýweÌýland mid-set for Dirty Projectors. 'Remade Horizon' is the arrival tune, as the band play their intricate stylings to a decent sizedÌýcrowd. This band LOVE playing together, clearly showing their enthusiasm on stage. And it's infectious.
The vocals of lead singer, Dave Longstreth, combineÌýperfectly with the three part harmonies of the girls in the band to make a joyous racket.ÌýThen Amber CoffmanÌýand Longstreth duet on a soulful laid back version of 'Rise Above',Ìýadding hints of r'n'b and giving this song yet another life.
Everything about this band is complex and exact, but they perform it with such ease and enjoyment that it feels like one entity as opposed to six proficient musicans playing their parts. Once again, Dirty Projectors deliver.ÌýÌý
