Glasgowbury 2011 - Silhouette

Post categories: ,Ìý,Ìý

ATL | 14:15 UK time, Sunday, 24 July 2011

Main stage, 2.20pm

Describe in a Tweet: The brightest silhouette you'll ever see!

What happened: Shauna Tohill brought the party, chatting as much as she sang, climbing on the bass drum, handing out gifts and getting carried away with that guitar. Proper festival antics, basically. We're totally won over.

Goldstar: 'Foxes' is typically epic and makes the most of Shauna's incredible voice, but it's 'Can't Keep Up' that steals the show, with it's spiky keys and a chorus that drags us in. And who'd have thought a double bass and cello combo could rock so hard?

Lost at Sea: 'Volume Destroyed' is marked off quite early and sounds a little weak. Such a great song deserved a little more welly, but I guess Silhouette were still settling in.
