Main Stage Stage, Sunday, 3.05pm

Describe in a Tweet: He'll put a smile on your face, but you'll forget it by tomorrow.

What happened: It's a big stage for just two folk, the Monaghan man being accompanied by percussionist Artur Graczyk who's tucked away to the side of the stage on his cajon box drum. But the sound they create is strangely full, Sheridan using his powerful (but somewhat indistinct) vocal to fill the space. The album title track 'The Day You Live Forever' is followed by his new single, 'The Dreamer' which has a distinct American twang to it with the chugging rhythmic guitar, but it's all very MOR. Still it strikes a chord with the crowd and heavy daytime radio plays could propel him beyond his very obvious busking roots, which starts to grate somewhat after a while.

Crazy In Love: Perfect set for an easy Sunday afternoon, keeping everybody in good spirits but nothing to intense for the sore heads.

Why Don't You Love Me: Ryan's guitar tech, 'Magic' relieves him from guitar duties for a very average cover of Crowded House's 'Don't Dream Its Over'. Holding the radio mic like a rapper, running into the audience Ryan slowly morphs into a strange Fred Durst lookalike. Kinda odd.

Oxegen rating: 6/10
