What happened?: ÌýFollowing possibly the most bizarre support act in their careers (improvised puppetry involving talking badgers pretending to re-create blockbuster films), local lad Tim and (adopted local) Emmy take to the stage for a relaxed, friendly acoustic set by the side of the campsite.Ìý The informal atmosphere feels like a house-party with chatting, drinks being passed about, kids running around, although unlike most house-parties, the people who are performing actually know what they’re doing.Ìý It’s a varied set including songs from The Strokes and The Pixies (a gorgeous rendition of ‘Where Is My Mind’) as well as material from Emmy herself, and Ash.

Ìý

Shining Light: ‘Shining Light’ obviously, prompting a bit of singing from the crowd, although as a duo ‘Where Is My Mind’ is the highlight.Ìý The extra couple of Ash tracks as Emmy heads off to find a drink is just a happy bonus from a man enjoying being surrounded by family and friends.

Ìý

Meltdown: It’s nearly too informal a setting, and it shows in the performance which is so relaxed that it feels like they’ve been press-ganged into playing and have nothing planned.
