'Arthur's Day - Play on the Day' isÌýa competition to find a fresh new Irish or Northern Irish act to play theÌýmain stage at the Guinness Hop Store in DublinÌýon Arthur's Day (22nd of September).ÌýOther acts playing that stageÌýon the dayÌýwill be the and .

The competition, whichÌýis run in association with and , will also award the over allÌýwinner a recording session with RTE,Ìýbe featured on a flip cover of a special Hot Press edition, a single release and lots of musical equipment.

Entrants must be over 18 years of age and the closing date for submissions is August 12th.
