T Vital local slot shortlist annoucned

Tennants Untapped

As previously reported, Tennents UnTapped is a competition for unsigned bands to win a slot at this years Vital festival. The submission deadline ended last month with over 250 entries, and now organisers have announced the last 16 acts shortlisted for the next part of the competition.Ìý

Each act will play one of four showcases next month, with two acts being chosen to open the main stage of the festival each day.

Showcase 1:
May 16th, The Limelight Belfast
Master and Dog
Gerard i2
Havana House Party
Jepettos

Showcase 2:
May 17th, The Limelight Belfast
City Of Stars
Futurescope
Peter McVeigh
Trucker Diablo

Showcase 3:
May 23rd , Bound For Boston, Derry-Londonderry
A Northern Light
Best Boy Grip
Mojo GoGo
Rachel Austin

Showcase 4:
May 24th, Bound For Boston, Derry-Londonderry
Droids
Morning Claws
Pretty Child Backfire
Two Glass Eyes


T Vital will take placeÌýat Boucher Playing Fields in Belfast with Foo Fighters headlining on Tuesday 21st and Stone Roses headlining on Wednesday 22nd August.
