Co Down native Ruairi Richamn aka 'Lemonade Shoelace' has caught the attention of rock star Yungblud, rapper Denzel Curry, and Grammy nominated singer and songwriter Julia Michaels. Ruairi was selected out of over 30,000 applicants after uploading some performance footage to a competition website, prompting some amazing reactions for the judges. Yungblud commented that the performance from Lemonade Shoelace was one of his favourites, while Denzel Curry went on to say he "would cruise to this”.
The win means Lemonade Shoelace will Lemonade support Yungblud in Mexico City on January 22nd 2022.
