The Association of Independent Music is to launch three regional hubs, including one in Northern Ireland. The initiative will see three regional hubs created in the North of England, Northern Ireland and Scotland, with an 'ambassador' and 'champion' providing expertise and access to resources that could benefit aspiring musicians.
Champion Sounds director Lyndon Stephens has been appointed in Northern Ireland.
“Now that AIM has a regional presence it means that young acts who are self releasing if they join AIM can tap into a huge knowledge base that can help them release their own music and get the best results from it in terms of making money and gaining an audience. Not only through the AIM website and London events but through a series of events that will happen locally“
