Dublin Based Music Business Scholarship Announced

A new Dublin based scholarship for a Diploma in Music Business has been announced, offering one student the opportunity to study on the year-long course free of charge.

The – ‘ Institute Dublin Diploma in Music Business’ will include digital marketing, artist management, digital music distribution, music publishing and recording live music. 

The British and Irish Modern Music Institude () was established in 2001 and enrols over 6,000 students, studying a range of specialist vocational music across colleges in Berlin, Brighton, Bristol, Dublin, Manchester, London and Birmingham, with James Bay, The Kooks, George Ezra, Tom Odell, Kate Nash, and Marina and the Diamonds among its graduates.

Interested parties are invited to contact the BIMM Institute Dublin Admissions team at info@bimm.ie or call +353 1 5133 666 for an application form. Deadline for submissions is 5pm on Friday 24th August 2018.

The Dublin college will also hold and Open Day on Thursday 28th June to mark its Diploma in Music and Audio Production, with and doors opening at 4.45pm.

IMRO, the Irish Music Rights Organisation, administers music copyright for songwriters, composers and music publishers, as well as sponsoring and promoting music on the island.
