Just arrived at our hotel in Lima and we need to be up in two hours so everyone has crashed in their rooms for a power-nap. I've had too much coffee so I've decided to sleep during the journey to Cusco tomorrow instead.
The team arrive at Lima Airport
All the luggage seems to have made it onto South American soil at least and it's now just a matter of getting it up into the Andes. The only item not to make it was Matt B's MP3 player, which he accidentally left in the toilets at Heathrow, but as it's full of Girls Aloud and James Blunt it probably won't be such a good find for the next person in the cubicle. Matt and I also accidentally bought 'his' and 'his' watches at the airport, and neither of us can get them to work.
Haven't seen anything of Lima really - just dark streets through the windows of the van from the airport, but we might get a sense of it before we leave tomorrow. It already feels like we left London a long time ago and, even though our journey has just started, we've come a long way since yesterday.
