Seetha Kumar (ex head of Ö÷²¥´óÐã HD) has been appointed Controller, bbc.co.uk. From the press release:
Seetha will lead the overall strategic and editorial development of bbc.co.uk, chairing a new bbc.co.uk board which brings together key executives from across the Ö÷²¥´óÐã.
The Ö÷²¥´óÐã's Research and Development at Kingswood Warren celebrated its 60th birthday last week with a demonstration of a "working real-time demodulator capable of receiving signals compliant to the DVB-T2 standard":
This is the first time anywhere in the world that a live end-to-end DVB-T2 chain has been demonstrated.
