Paidcontent have the story . Paidcontent's Robert Andrews had previously which has now been turned down by the Ö÷²¥´óÐã saying:
"It is in the public interest that this information should be disclosed to all licence-fee payers at the same time, rather than provided in advance to one individual."

The Live desktop isn't there in the beta and this wasn't made clear in Anthony's post. Details of features that aren't in the beta as yet are which may help. Apologies for any confusion.
The Red Button on iPlayer is a question for another team and I've sent it to them.
