Red Button Changes
On 15th October the video component of Ö÷²¥´óÐã Red Button on Sky, FreeSat and Virgin Media will be reduced from five to one stream, bringing it in line with the Ö÷²¥´óÐã's Freeview offer. We are doing this because these services rely entirely on linear broadcast technologies, which are not cost-effective for an interactive service like the red button.
This change in no way signals the demise of Ö÷²¥´óÐã Red Button. The Ö÷²¥´óÐã is committed to maintaining a vibrant and popular red button service. 20 million people a month press red on the Ö÷²¥´óÐã and our ambition is to develop the service and increase the size of our audience.

Reducing to 1 stream is a step backwards. In the future, will major sporting events such as the Rugby 6 Nations, Wimbledon, British Golf Open?

As a high proportion of your sport watching viewers are senior citizens who won't necessarily have iPads at hand or unlimited broadband etc....wouldn't this be a good idea? it would also free up Ö÷²¥´óÐã2 when major sporting events are on! The Olympic streams were brilliant in the summer, so why not just keep 1 of these for regular sporting events?

Maybe you could list the things (what you might almost call 'programmes' on 'the channel') and then put the times in chronological order at the bottom.

You don't necessarily have to - I used to just plug my PC into the TV via the scart socket. My latest laptop has HDMI which also works. For those with Connected TVs some have applications to allow you to watch internet streams.
