Tare Zameen Par

Raj&Pablo | 15:01 UK time, Tuesday, 10 February 2009

It's been an interesting week so far - on Monday we were invited to mentor pupils at Wormholt Primary School in London. It was amazing to see how kids of all backgrounds are so interested in the magic of Bollywood. Our hats off to all the teachers - its exhaustive work but we enjoyed every minute of the day. This Sunday our foray into the world of "The Prime of Ms Jean Brodie" and "Tare Zameen Par" continues as we are the subject of a "Q&A on Bollywood" as a part of Ö÷²¥´óÐã Blast Bollywood Festival at the British Film Institute. Nervous, excited - its fun to be on the other side with questions fired at us. Do hope you can come along!

ab_blog.jpgRaj: Hooked up with Abhishek on Saturday - he was on a brief stopover from New York en route to Mumbai after attending the premier of Ash's "The Pink Panther 2". Hugs galore and a joking tell off as we were running late. He celebrated his birthday in New York with all the family and told us he was really moved by a little girl who waited in the snow to give him a birthday present. Bless!! Make sure you listen to the show this Saturday as he reveals his Valentine's message to the lovely Ash. We joked about his new trim fit look - he looks amazing, but he is still a "foodie" He revealed he spent a lot of time in Delhi when growing up - his grandparents are based there and loves the food at the "dhabbas" in Chandni Chowk - and it made sure everyone on the sets gorged themselves on all of Delhi's delicious delights.

ak_blog.jpgPablo: Apart from Abhi, Anil Kapoor popped in. Big hugs and congrats were in order and as always he is one of the most humblest stars. He is enjoying all the well deserved accolades for "Slumdog" but his eyes lit up when we told him we spoke to his daughter last week about "Delhi 6." He is the perfect doting daddy and has his fingers are crossed that the movie will hit the mark. We hooked up with Irfan Khan and have to say he is nothing like his screen image. He is one of the wittiest and fun stars we know - and perfect skin! He loves taking risks and cant wait till "Billu" - yep Irfan confirmed that the "Barber" has been trimmed in the title due to complaints by hairdressers who find it derogatory, he was also raving about his co-star Lara Dutta. SRK should be in town this week; he's put off his surgery for the release - so watch this space.

Love Us, Love Bollywood

Raj&Pablo xx
