We both grew up on aÌýdiet of Bollywood and learned a lot about Indian culture andÌýmusic through watching the music from the world's largest film industry. ItÌýtook us some time, as I recall when Bollywood was a dirty word and it was so uncool to say you lovedÌýBollywood music. Before going out we used to dance around to the latest tracks just to get our fix and then be bored the rest of the night at whatever underground/bhangra/desi club we went to. One of the funniest games we used to play was to dance to whatever urban/bhangra track was playing while singing out lyrics of a Bollywood track! Ìý

People may sneer at Bollywood as being cheesy, commercial and throwaway - but we love it - long liveÌýBollytastic populism! Ìý

Raj: Finally managed to get my brain round the latest changes on Facebook - phew - and yes IÌýwill be joining the Love Story 2050 campagin....aaaaaaaaargh....a promise is a promise! I'veÌýeven learnt how to share some of our favourite tracks on our pages. This week your reaction to "Ajeeb Dasatan Hai Yeh" has been great. It's from an old black and white movie calledÌý'Dil Apna Aur Preet Parayi' and is aÌýstory about unrequited loveÌýand sensual passion. Meena Kumari plays the girl in love with Raj Kumar, who is in the clutches of the vampish Nadira.Ìý Do check it out. Ìý

Pablo: So glad Raj has no more excusesÌýnot toÌýjoin my campaign! This week's big release is a movie steeped in controversies - the much awaited Akshay Kumar, Ayesha Takia, Sharmila Tagore starrerÌý'8x10 Tasveer'. It's shot in Canada and Akshay - in a departure from his normal roles, plays a forest ranger who possesses supernatural powers in this murder mystery. We can't wait to see if one of the most underrated actors in the industry will surprise us with his performance. Ìý
