Car thieves, eh?

Firstly, Chris and Dave couldn't do today's blog as Chris is busy working in television and Dave is busy watching it.

So it falls to me again to blog you big-style...

(Incidentally, this is a blogtation, it's like a dictation in that I'm dictating all of this to Hoop Dogg on the telephone, and it's a blog - hence 'blogtation'.)

I have been the victim of a crime. Nothing as dramatic as a break-in or an armed robbery, but car thieves have nicked one of my wheels.

This wheel wasn't one of the four wheels that makes the car go. It was the spare wheel situated under the vehicle. They've come along and ruddy well nicked it.

What an odd crime. They've obviously gone under our car, unscrewed the bits that hold the tyre in place, taken the tyre off and put it in their getaway vehicle. They will then sell this for a whopping £20??? This is rubbish.

I am not amused. Not only did it rain this afternoon but it also rained in my heart.

If you know where the wheel is then please let me know.

Anyway, onto ... you may well read this before or after the internationals tonight. Here are my predictions for the games:

Croatia 1 England 2
Wales 1 Cyprus 0
Scotland 4 Ukraine 1
N.Ireland 1 Latvia 1
Republic of Ireland 1 Czech Republic 2

It's play along fun. if you're a car thief, please don't join in. You'll sour the atmosphere and ruin what is a perfectly nice little game.

If you're the victim of a crime... it's rubbish isn't it?

A couple of years ago I had the spare wheel off my ageing Ford Escort nicked not once but twice from 2 different locations! Once was in a pub car park and the other was on the drive of our house. The two locations were about 5 miles apart.
I can only concur that there must have been a national shortage of spare wheels for Ford Escorts at the time.

Oh well we live and learn ... I suppose!

Dom, I feel your pain. Being a victim of any crime is rubbish. I ad my car stereo nicked years ago and it really hacked me off knowing someone had been in my car without my knowledge. Also had it key-scratched front-to-back by some little urchin.

Chris, pull your finger out and write a blog. dont get me wrong, it isnt that i dont enjoy reading about stolen cars, changes of hair colour, or even pitiful 'pity me' comments from Aled - a holiday on the internet talking to friends...... it must be so hard for you. I should stay at work!

But, it is called the Chris Moyles show for a reason.
