Hair, Fire and Golf
Well its back to me again as Chris has decided he is "between" computers at the moment so he's not sure what he's doing - and there's project B stuff that he's very busy with so I drew the straw for the friday blog. Its been an interesting few days - still deciding whether to go from blonde to brunette. Loads of people are doing it and I've been blonde for like ever..though as a few of us will confess it does need a little helping hand these days..But to be honest I'm just glad I still have hair to worry about. (No offence intended Dom).
Nothing planned the other night so thought right am so tired and still struggling to walk after the great north run so I would have a nice bath with loads of bubbles and candles so I could chill out and sort out m aching limbs.
So I had a new ibiza cd on, lying in the bath - all is good - tip my head back to have a little shut eye, next thing I know there is this god awful smell..basically when leaning back on the edge of the bath i had forgotten there was a small candle on the ledge..And that had now set fire to my hair!!!! Eeeekkk!! Big panic dipped head in the bath and loads seemed to fall out, bits of black burnt hair everywhere. Yuk!!! In the end not as bad as first thought and there's only a little patch thats a bit thinner than the rest but no one could notice. Fair to say a lesson learned be very careful with candles when in the bath.
Anyway Dom and I have discovered a very exciting new pass time. As you know I am parital to a little golf. Now the weathers rubbish don't really fancy getting drenched over 18 holes..But huurah! There is this place down the road in London called Urban Golf. There you go into a basement and have this little booth where you can play golf. There's a massive screen in front of you and you play with real clubs and basically its the same but no grass. There are even different mats to play off for if you are in the rough or in a bunker. Very clever. We've been twice now and played the old course at St Andrews and somewhere in Hawaii that I can't pronounce. Its awesome. You can even have a beer while you play. Dave's up for a bit of it and we're trying to get Chris involved too.
Its been a hectic week this week with loads of guests - Jack Osbourne was such a nice bloke and has very cute dimples. But somehow Gordon Ramsay was my favourite - you just want him to swear at you. Very weird. Listen back on listen again or even check out the podcast!

How did Max do that so quickly? Ive been made to wait. Gave me time to think of something constructive to say though..... Great idea about the golf Carrie, and Chris can't claim that your form of golf ruins' a good walk.....my kind of golf - no walking!!

You look beautiful as you are my dear but everybody needs a change now and again.
I just made the jump from brunette to blonde, ye its weird at first but you get used to it - I say go for it and I'm sure you'll look fab!

But surely Carrie the problem with going to an indoor underground golf course is that you can't just nip behind a tree for a quick wee when you need to. Oh, right, I forgot, you don't bother anyway.
By the way, I did hear your great one-liner when one of the guests said they needed to go out for a wee and you said, "Oh that's ok, just go", isn't it annoying when you have a great one-liner and nobody hears it!

Carrie: I hope you recover from the Great North Run. The idea of golf is great. I would recommend the golf courses at Coral Gables Florida or the Ministure Golf that exists in some places where I'm at. Of course, I prefer football. I'm getting ready for Euro 2008. I will probably here some of the games in stations like RDP [Portugal], RTVE [Spain] since the Ö÷²¥´óÐã does not transmit to North America. Cheers from Miami. Roberto

Well Carrie you as ever have the week go so quickly, you poor thing having the burnt hair in the bath,they were so cruel teasing you about going Green the other day,

So funny when they were talking about your cleavge popping out the other day I was laughing on the train.
The golf sounds excellent.
I think it would be fun to see you Brunette you are so much fitter than Abi Titmuss and all my mates loves your voice.
