The argument as to whether Jade and her bitchy house sisters are racists, stupid, prejudice, ignorant or all of the above will not be resolved anytime soon. One thing that鈥檚 certain is how astonishing the size of the storm this has become!

One benefit to working closely with Big Brother and Channel 4 week in week out since series 2 is that I鈥檓 right at the heart of things for when things kick off at times like this. Knowing the producers and press officers behind the scenes have made fascinating viewing over the last few days.

The circus surrounding the events are not even yet at it鈥檚 peak. As I type this the latest in a stream of 鈥渂reaking news鈥� on Celeb Big Brother has just been reported with Newsbeat saying there will not be an audience tonight. For health and safety reasons this is the right thing.

Attention has now turned to the Press Conference. The quiet little room that I sit in at midnight on Big Brother Friday nights is tonight the hottest ticket in town. Every paper (national and regional), radio station (主播大秀 and Commerical) from UK and some from abroad worth their weight are trying to be there. At the moment I am the only representative from the 主播大秀 but that has potential to change.

Following a lengthy on-air meeting about HOW we deal with the interview of tonight鈥檚 evictee (widely expected to be Jade over Shilpa) it might very well end up not an issue. Channel 4 are hesitating to confirm who gets access tonight suggesting they鈥檙e questioning whether a mauling from the press is advisable! The very press conference may be in question.

If I get the nod that it is happening I鈥檒l be judging the mood on the evening as to whether I should come in with my own serious questions or whether should bring in my own silly questions 鈥� which right now, doesn鈥檛 feel too appropriate.

If the press conference happens, I鈥檒l post a blog letting you know before anyone else what happened and how it went 鈥� it鈥檒l be late though. Probably close to 1am.

Radio 1 will be continuing it鈥檚 coverage with regular updates on Newsbeat and this weekend鈥檚 Sunday Surgery will look at the whole heated issue of racism and bullying and how much, if any, went on in the Big Brother house.
