Miranda goes to the gym

Bonjourno to you (Italian). How have you been? I've missed you.

Hopefully the fact that you are reading this, means you are in to the show. Hurrah for you and thank you. This week's episode is about braving the gym, realising it's not for me, then desperately trying to get out of the gym membership. Filming the montage of attempting the gym was worryingly exhausting, although I would like to point out that the sweat on my t-shirt was fake. I was sprayed with water under the pits etc - it was rather nice on a hot June filming day.

The yoga ball 'stunt' in this episode...Ìý I like to think it is stunt work. Call me Michael Crawford. The crew were really worried about me doing it. I said I am going to put two yoga balls slightly apart, run up to them, my torso will be on the front one and my legs on the second and I will travel across the gym. They asked how I knew it would be safe (insurance issues galore) and I had to admit I had done it before! Although I had done it with very large rolls of bubble wrap in an office when I was an office manager. (We all get our kicks somehow.) Go on, when you are next at the gym, I dare you...Ìý Ìý

Enjoy this weeks ep do.ÌýÌý Ìý

I just came across this show by chance on Sunday Night, and I must say I haven't laughed so much at a Ö÷²¥´óÐã comedy in a long time.
You even had my brother laughing and him and I never laugh at the same things.

bravo, keep up the good work, I can't wait to see more from Miranda.

oh and btw Miranda has excellent taste Tom Ellis is just melt in the mouth yummy.

This is a fantastic series! Miranda is hilarious.... And yet strangely familar! Great show.... Fingers crossed for a second series....the funniest thing I've seen in ages!I now feel a bit like a stalker!! Was going to say great to see a tall woman on telly too, but that sounds stalkerish too, I'm nearly 6 foot and often bumble around not that talking about myself is needed!! I'm off now!! .......... Thumbs up to Miranda.... Ö÷²¥´óÐã second series please......

We are so into this wonderfully hilarious series. Our Monday nights don't end with 'University Challenge'any more - (I can't count 'Flashforward' as we always watch that some other time because of the adverts.)
'Miranda' is so refreshingly funny and 'spot-on'. As a tall female myself and having been mistaken for a man also (humiliating - especially in my swimsuit - no, not really ;-)) I really identify with her character. This is the best thing for women since 'Smack the Pony'. Thank you so much.

    Dear Ms Hart

Me again with another serious and legitimate, what I would call, "complaint".

I have often wondered when people write "PMSL" whether they really do, you know, "P" themselves.

Well as somebody who recently gave birth (and by "recent" I mean "seven years ago") I would like to attest that it is very nearly true.

To that end, I feel your programme should come with a warning at the sart by the voice-over man ... you know, something along the lines of "this programme contains scenes of extreme comedy". And perhaps maybe a little symbol could flash up on the screen in advance of said comedy moments, of maybe, I don't know, a pair of Tena Lady pants?

I really don't appreciate having my bladder tested in this way on a Monday evening ...

Hoping you take this complaint seriously ...

    Mrs Jelly
(who also feels a bit like a stalker, although I like to think of myself as an insistent friend you haven't met yet)
    xx

Had to play catch up on iPlayer as I've been busy. Eps 2 and 3 were very good.

    I'm confused though.

Why does someone who's a sensible height and has your brains, talent and looks keep resorting to willy jokes? You're good enough that you don't need 'obvious' jokes to get a laugh.

    Hi Miranda...

I have enjoyed your series so much that I have even decided to create an account so that I can post a message on this blog! Another password to forget...so I'm doing it now before I do.

Great series - really sorry to watch the final episode last night. We must have more.
