Transfer Updates

DJ Campbell. Blackpool to Blackpool. 4 million.

DJ Cambell enters Blackpool FC's HQ

Blackpool have pulled off a surprise transfer coup by signing DJ Campbell, whom they signed from Leicester for £1.2 million in 2010, from themselves for £4 million. Manager Ian Holloway explains:
"I know it seems daft and it is daft and I am daft but I just enjoyed signing DJ so much last year that I thought I'd do it again, basically. Even though he's obviously a lot more expensive now". Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston has described the bonus Holloway will receive from the transfer as "a side issue".

It's weird. It says comedy at the top and comedy at the side and there are mentions of "funny" here and there.

But where is the actual humorous stuff? Is it the inept Photoshopping that's supposed to be funny or is there some sort of one-liner hidden in the text, Da Vinci Code style?

    Seurat,

Don't feel bad, these are truly bad, however, I can help there is one joke in there about Holloway:

Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston has described the bonus Holloway will receive from the transfer as "a side issue".

Its not a good joke but it is at least a token effort on a comedy blog. However, if you are looking for a comedy blog with possibly a negative amount of jokes (advertising loses points) try the Mrs Brown one.

    Also repasting my job application:

'Also dear comedy blog, can i ahve a job, here are my first 3 article titles:

Ronaldo (fat) in stunning £3 move to Leyton Orient, signing on fee of a kebab.
Rooney buys himself and proceeds to offer his services to his local pub team on loan for rest of season.
Barcelona look to get some experience in their defence and midfield and sign the neville brothers for a combined £64.3m'
