I was so glad to see that Denise was alive, however, I was also really upset that Lucas could do such a thing. I hope Denise escapes soon and is reunited with her kids, and they all become a family again... well minus the bible basher.

I knew that D was not dead, right after the canal scene!! Last time someone was supposed to have died in there, they popped back twenty years later!!

The script writers should have named Lucas, Lucifer, a much more appropriate name I think. There'll be a room in a firery hell for him, just hope they don't drag out her ordeal and his fate too long!!

True point Jimbo cause last time someone was supposed to have been chucked into the canal dead they turned up like twenty years later. I'm so glad that Denise isn't dead but i really do hope she can get out of that dirty horrible place the bible basher is keeping her and see her children! but do you think she will be able to get out lets watch, wait and see!

I think this storyline has been severely undermined by several flaws. The police released Denise's body before properly closing the case of who murdered Owen? Never seemingly thinking to check that the body in the canal was actually Denise's through DNA tests?! How many police forces take one (mad) man's word for it that a body is they say it is!?! Pretty ridiculous really.

Here I am, in Stockholm, Sweden. Eastenders is the prime of my life! I have to see it; I HAVE to, can´t live without it. If I miss 5 minutes, something is bound to happen during those minutes that is important for everything that happens after that and I get so upset! In Sweden we´re at least 2 weeks after you guys, so I try to find out what´s going to happen on this site. And then: this is not available in your country!! :-((

2 be honest i always knew that she was alive. The night she was strangled in the car i was pretty sure her nails were painted black. When Lucas went to confirm the dead body. The corpse of this lady had pink nails! Suspecting a huge twist, i predicted she was still alive. So sorry folks, i didn't quite buy it.
Great show though, watch it every time. Soooo addictive.

ive always thought of 'enders as being the most realistic soap but this whole lucas thing and denise being locked in the basement when she's supposed to be dead is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!
i know that its fiction and i know they have to make it interesting and dramatic and yes, i also know the writers and producers like to drag things out and out and out for ever but this storyline is just daft and has lost my interest by being too far-fetched!

dear 'enders team.....please retain some sense of realism and stop going for lazy stories.

Oh my god I'm gobsmacked, Lucas; you monster I know in real life he is like AWESOME! But still you ain't right in the head . And most of all DENISE WAS HIDDEN RIGHT NEXT DOOR!!!! I couldn't believe it! And the door was open, god I could go on all day, but one thing; Lucas ain't no saint; oh and now I have to wait 2 days before seeing it again .. It ended in SUCH a cliffhanger ,,, aaarrgghhhh! Anyway I'm loving the way it is going and please Lucas just whatever you do; don't kill yourself! Too cool to go just yet .. :) xxx

Seems odd Lucas has cleverly covered his tracks for months but now risks it all by not killing Denise. It is a weak ending to the storyline.

Since seeing the feet at the morgue that couldn't possibly have been Denises, its good she is back. Great timing with Happy Birthday being sung. Now its time Lucas got his just desserts.

OMG Denise has got out! I cannot believe that the keys were up there all the time and she could of got out any time she wanted but no cause she believed that horrible man she thought she had been locked up in there! I also cannot believe that she has been kept in a cell next door to her house! I really cannot wait till Thursday 29th to watch what actually happens! x

how could anyone not realise that it wasn't really denise in the canal, that girl wasn't dark enough. and lucas was the only person to confirm her identity.

it think its going to be a richard hillman moment from corrie and lucas will chase after denise and try to kill the whole family, especially with chelsea, libby and liz set to leave. hope he doesn't get patrick

why does d psycho murderous man lucas have to be a christian....as if to say it has anythin to do with the religion. is this representing any member of the christian community??? afterall, most killers (real life )we see on the news are never known to be christians let alone have any religious background.

OKaay how weird would it be if Libby and Patrick were thrilled but Chelsea wasn't because she thinks her mum is a murderer?? Or if Libby thought that!?
But am so glad she is back and my and my brother pee'd ourselfs laughing that she was just next door to her house :L :L

Tuesday nights EE was the best yet in the waht was flagging storyline for Lucas and Denise
Im really looking forward to thursdays to see how Denises family react and poor Jordan -how will he deal with the revelatins about his father that are bound to be revealed
Patrick obviously suspects something-you can see it in his eyes and almost taste his suspicions

Enjoyed Eastenders for years - but I am critical. That is part of the fun. Past and present portrayal of Christians is very poor and always negative. The current storyline is very confusing for anyone who is not a Christian. Lucas is mad of course but having said that,to which denomination is he supposed to belong? It is obvious your advisor is confused too! Please give a balanced view of our Holy faith. Also if I were a Muslim I would be greatly offended. I understand you are trying to put balanced views across in line with the world today. Ah! that is the problem - the state of the world today. Keep churning it out - it is stimulating thoughts.I hope no one thinks there is a Christian - truly Christian church like the one Lucas 'runs'!

Story line not painting the police in a good picture eh.

Bet there are those who are saying that it could not happen.

Bet it could, as far as I see it the police would go for the easy
option rather than actually doing any checking out the facts.

Next story line will be he gets off after two months (or days) in a ward wth a few guilable do gooders who believe his holy than thou persona, letting him out to do who knows what....

So how many other houses in the square have a basement that we have never seen before??? And if the door was blocked with a piece of plywood secured from the outside, how did Lucas get in and out???

It was obviously not Denise from the off, as the girl in the water wasn't wearing any jewellery on her hands, and Denise wouldn't be seen dead without hers (pardon the pun!!)even though the pink nail varnish was accurate.

But how did Lucas think this could end? Did he think that as the new messiah he could bring her back from the dead and no-one would question it??? I love EE, but think this plot is a little too far fetched even for a soap!

Thursdays EE was pretty good but dear Chelsea should have been a blond she is so ditsy
when the window was s,ashed with the tv why didnt they all scream and shout cos Lucas (definite villain of the decade) couldnt have attacked all of them at once
and why oh why did patrick not make a run for it when heather came to the door and Heather should have gone immediately to check the shop alarm-as a key holder that was her priority
By the end of the episode I actually felt compassion for poor deluded Lucas
One last thing I want Jordan to get more scenes-will he turn out like his dad/will he totally turn against the church who knows

Did anyone else get annoyed over Chelsea's stupidity! She should've definitely been blond. Anyone with even half a brain would be sceptical over Denise killing Owen because she wouldn't be strong enough to drag his body. After living with her for all those years surely they would know her well enough to know she wouldn't kill. Even when Lucas admitted the whole thing, she still wouldn't believe it. What a daft girl!

So who has been living in no 18 all this time? - I thought it was part of the B&B and therefore the whole family would have access to it.

Why was it boarded up? Why was only the ground floor boarded up?

How did Lucas get in if Denise had to kick down the board to get out?

Why have we never seen that the houses have cellars before?

Poor denise, that monster called lucushad her, i hope lucus escapes and comes back and torments the family and chealsea has a baby and lucus wants to see it but she won't let him see it and he kidnapps it and keeps it but he starts taking drugs and smoking and that baby is in danger of death and chealsea kills him gives the baby away then kills herself now that would be one heck of a storyline
