I really can`t stand the new `actress`. Bring back Maddie. It was a big mistake changing Lauren & I was hoping that Max would let her leave in tonight`s episode. She`s nothing like the `real` Lauren. She`s taller, fatter & her accent is appalling. I won`t watch any of her so-called video diaries as I`m no longer interested in the character. Maddie could have played the part so much better, she had a bit of class about her.

PLEASE STOP POSTING THESE VIDEOS OF LAUREN!!! We don't care what's going on in her world! I loved 'Danielle's Diary'! That was a great addition to the site, but this is just riduculous!

seriously, who do you think watches this?! nobody can stand the "new Lauren" me in particular! I agree with queenarumlily, the old actress was really good, and it was a big mistake, and I totally agree about maddie having class. I read somewhere on here, the new Lauren was back, and trying to prove she's mature --but she's so unbelievably immature, prior to the character change, Lauren was mature and classy, now she's a character that drives me nuts! your going to loose yourselves viewers this way!

I thought for one moment we'd be rid of her! so gutted she's still in it!

I suggest you bring back maddie, everyone loves her, she was a good actress in my opinoin and my families. Jaqueline isn't a good actress at all!

Get rid of the this 'actress' she rubbish. Lauren would of never acted the same way she does. She needs to leave stacy alone and im glad that max sweared on her life 'I hope she dies'!

No disrespect to the actress currently playing Lauren Branning, I'm sure she's a lovely, but boy does she irritate me. I cannot comment on whether or not she’s a good actress because I’m unsure whether or not the character is supposed to grate on the viewing public’s nerves.

If that is the case, then she is a fantastic actress!

queenarumlily and vickiryan, i totally disagree. You have to remember that the scripts and storylines are given to the actors and actresses, and they can't really do much about it!! I agree that Maddie was very good as Lauren, but why not give Jacqueline a chance? She's brought her new spin to the character and I think her video diaries are good- it tells you more about what Lauren is thinking. Give Jac a chance!!!!

I like the new Lauren, she's a good actress and she does it well. It's just they've seemed to change Lauren's persona over night, and I don't think I like it.
But saying that if they'd of kept the old Lauren I don't think this persona would of suited her.
I guess people just need to get over it. Lol.

As so many people have already commented: Lauren tried to kill her own father - surely she should have had the most empathy for Stacey? Now Stacey will flee the square but, I feel, it would be much better if Lauren were to disapear. Does this character even like living in Walford? I hope the writers will soon give her happier storylines to let viewers warm to her... so far she has been a dark cloud with her moody scowls and smirks. Has anyone else noticed a remarkable likeness to Lucy Beale all of a sudden??

I absolutley hate LAUREN BRANNING! There is no need for all the stirring i like STACEY so so what if she killed ARCHIE MITCHELL does (or should i say did?) anyone really like him anyway? doubt it, he was a nasty piece of work and i think that STACEY, RYAN and BABY LILY should all move into together sod JANINE although she is funny with RYAN but he and STACEY make a much better couple anyway back to LAUREN get rid!!!

I am sorry but I hate the new Lauren she is just so mean and spightful. Since the new Lauren has come into the show she has just about upset or caused offence to everyone. Janine and Lauren should just go far away and they should both leave Ryan, Stacey and baby Lilly to be a happy family. I wish the original actress who played Lauren would return to the show. She was born to the role and made the character interesting and exciting to watch. The new Lauren is just boring and complains all the time. Whenever she has something to say she always has to shout. I still love the branning clan but the old lauren must deffinetly return to the show.

Actually vickiryan i can 'stand' the new lauren and me and most people i know agree that the new actress is better and her role as lauren is more exciting and interesting.

I really can't stand the new lauren!! Who the hell does she think she is! giving stacey a hard time about bradleys death. SHE WASN'T EVEN THERE WHEN HE DIED!!! Since when has she ever cared about bradders anyway, probably never!! if she did, she would have understood that it was bradleys dying wish that stacey go free because he loved her. so what if stacey had a hand in archies death he was pure EVIL AND HE DERSEVED EVERYTHING THAT WAS COMING TO HIM!!! And who's she to say that stacey never loved bradley!! if she looked hard enough she would of seen that stacey absolutely ADORED bradley and would have done ANYTHING for him!! glad stacey told lauren like it is, YOU GO STACEY!! If i was stacey, i would have slapped lauren across the face!! BELIEVE ME, i wanted too!! and im not even in the show!! lolz. and who is vaneesa to get involved in stacey's bisuness!! giong round the square taking on the role of lauren and abbi's mother, IT'S NOTHING TO DO WITH HER what MAX and STACEY had together, she should keep out of things that don't concern her!! and leave the motherly duties to TANYA their REAL MOTHER, NOT HER!!! :)

I think she is much better than the old actress, she can act better and actually plays the part better and gives the character more emotion. It's not your decision and stop trying to get the old Lauren back. Give her a break. She can act.

I like the new Lauren i think she is better, well thats my opinion. Lauren is a really good character, she can be very sneeky but she also is a very good mate to Whitney, so yeah i like the new Lauren though the other Lauren is nice too, but yeah, c ya!!!!!! xXx
