Eastenders will get this storyline right,, i think that it's good whitney is playing the part 'coz it brings back all her memories from tony!!! When will bianca come back? congrats on Pasty's baby btw :)

I hope justice is done and these evil men get caught for what they do it is terrible, I hope she doe's not die as it would be awful!

I realy hope the message being sent out with this story line gets heard loud and clear. Men that exploit young vunerable people (boys and girls) should be locked up!!

i totally agree with maxine they are digusting people out there so pleas boys and girls if ur watching or reading this keep your self save get to knw them first an if u hear what they say and you dont like it then dont have nothing to do with them cecause ur mre better than that trust me

I thought tonight's episode was very powerful and it was good to see a different side to Janine she genuinely was concerned for Whitney.

id just like to say that the 主播大秀 portraid the story with whitney true to form, i was once in a very similar situation and felt there was nobody there for me which in turn made me a target for men looking to take advantage, i have since come out of the other side but realise how much bringing this into the spotlight can help people in that situation, i hope they know they r not alone and seek help. im 100% behind the cause and at the end of an email if i can help x

Jan111, I agree. This 10 minutes storyline from Comic Relief made the hairs on my arms stand up last night - it felt like an hour, watching it. It was chilling and well done 主播大秀 for raising awareness. As a 27 year old woman, 5 years ago I found myself vulnerable and in a lonely, sad place, financially in a mess and had lost my job and I met this male on-line, who I eventually met up with. He got to know me a little and realised I was vulnerable and I fell hook, line and sinker for him because I believed he cared and loved me. He abused me emotionally, controlled me and made me go through the most horrendous things with other men. The physical pain didn't bother me, the emotional pain was the hardest. This went on for 3 long years as I totally, totally, worshipped him. This was not for financial gain on his part at all, this was purely because he was a sick man who for whatever reason, which I'll never know, got kicks from it. He groomed me firstly, buying me gifts, taking me for gorgeous dinners, sending flowers/perfumes/jewellery/putting money in my bank account but I thankfully got out when he suggested something so sickening I knew if I didn't get out, I would be dead! I moved home, changed my no. I never sought help, i.e. counselling but probably should have because my opinion of men is dire now but I know that there are good men out there. What is also happening on Waterloo Road (the same type of storyline) just breaks my heart. These men are abusing young, vulnerable girls, brain washing them, "buying" them firstly then making them do unspeakable things with other men, and yes videos of them being filmed and put on the web to line their pockets. Yes, I was an adult, and it happens to adults too, and I'm a pretty, switched on, intelligent adult too, and sometimes I feel ashamed I was so led down the garden path! Some are not adults, some are so young and are drawn in. I hope these rings are smashed. I know of one ring that has recently been smashed and well done 主播大秀 for portraying this and raising the awareness of it. Men like this are pure scum and I cried with happiness when Whitney got out! :)

Ok, gotta say, I am completely shocked by what has happened to Whitney! Is this really the kind of thing that happens to young girls today? that's crazy! All I can say is that the men who are buying these girls are disgusting and despicable. According to the link the average girl is 13-15 years old when this is happening to her...that is a CHILD...and I am utterly baffled at how that can be so here in the UK, this is not some third world country and that is pedophilia rampant in the UK! Congratulations 主播大秀 , call me foolish but you have managed to shock the hell out of me with this story.

Heart-renching and very moving episodes. Eastenders has done exceptionally well with this storyline so far. I am even loving that annoying and usually nasty Janine character in this, because she so clearly KNOWS WHAT WHITNEY IS GOING THROUGH AND THEREFORE HOW BEST TO APPROACH HER AND HOW BEST TO TALK TO HER and she isn't giving up. Janine does have feelings. I don't think this should be shocking to people, but am not surprised that it is. I am just So pleased to see this soap tackling it so openly and the acting is being done so well.

I saw this during comic relief and was both eager to know what would happen to Whitney and terrified of watching it! By the end I was actually really shaken, (im 30!) and disturbed by this. I think its good Enders has highlighted this horrific problem and in a really good way, I know Whitney is just a character, but this really does happen to so many boys, girls and women and men in real life and if it makes just one person think twice about who they're getting involved with or just make sure that they're safer when out and about etc then brilliant! This is the first time ive ever logged on to see if i can find more out about what happens, I just really hope that Whitney will be safe now as these predatory men do NOT just give up. I'd love to see the other girl who was at the house get out safe too and maybe even be given a role as i think she played her part amazingly well. xx

Following almost 40 years as a secondary school teacher and a learning consultant I recently 鈥榬etired鈥� to focus upon 鈥榟elping everyone learn to succeed鈥�, by providing support and understanding using the extensive scientific research on the everyday concerns that seem to affect almost everyone, especially young people and parents. I particularly want to help everyone understand what our children most need to learn to increase the life chances and how we can help them learn to succeed and improve their wellbeing.
The Whitney story is brilliant and the 鈥楨astenders Revealed鈥� special on it provides a little background to it. However, I feel that if the approach I used in my book and my website is applied it would really help many people understand and learn from it and I would be happy to help with it.

Whens it going to get back to the Whitney story and what about the baby swap story line, they all drag on too long
