oooooh no!!! i saw it in the news, why are so many people leaving? your going to end up with no cast at all! because a lot of people are leaving and taking breaks! stacey left, peter,glenda,ronnie,charlie,bianca,conor,peggy,billy, lucas, jordan , now darren,vanessa,jim,jane, ricky, seriously pleaseee bring a lot of people back! cos if there is hardley any good people there will be no good storylines!

I bet his ending will be a 'whodunnit?' or something because there's been none of them for ages and they are really interesting and hooking! Your last question really suggests his ending won't all be hunky dory. I agree with you Sheryl that loads of people who are really good cast people are leaving and they're bringing no-one new in. Bring back Dawn (Kara Tointon) I loved her character!

I'm absoloutely gutted Darren will be leaving the square. Charlie is a fantastic actor for someone of only 20 and has a bright future. He's had a strong 7 years on the show with some big storylines. I think Darren really came into his own after his family left a few years back and developed really well as a character. I thought the Darren and Max duo was absoloutely genius! The Darren and Jodie relationship was very sweet to watch out on-screen. I think both Darren as a character and Charlie as an actor deserves a big storyline leading to his exit having given just under 7 years service to the show. It'll be good for the door to be left open if Charlie ever was to decide to return to the show in the future. I'd like to wish Charlie all the very best of luck for the future, not that you need it - you've bundles of talent!

He was such a great character in the soap and great acter too, his exit is sure to be a big one and to involve many formilar faces; Jodie etc that the character been around during his full time on the show. Can't want, hope he retunes latter on as that would be intrencing!!!!

sad to hear Charlie and Zoe are leaving they were 2 so brilliant characters i've met Zoe before when i went to Elstree to meet the EastEnders cast she was in Kyile baggington's car got a wave and smile from them both. so when they leave whos going to take over their roles?

I am gutted that Darren is leaving.
He is one of my favourites, Him and Jodie are sweet together and it's a shame it be only her in the square. I have a feeling Jodie when Darren laves might be becoming friends with Lauren and Whitney and maybe her and Peter will become a couple when he returns.

To be honest I was surprised that out of all the Millars they kept Darren in for so long and as its Charlie's choice to leave he would probably be around longer.

I find him a bit pathetic which is probably why people like him so much.
