yay first to comment haha ian got punched hope mandy doesnt cause too much trouble

  • Comment number 2.

I have had enough of all these new characters already...

  • Comment number 3.

Clare, she isn't 'new', she was in it years back. Getting bored of Ian and his drama lately.

  • Comment number 4.

Clare, she's not new. Mandy Salter was in the show between 1992 and 1994 and is returning to Albert Square after 17 years. I'm really excited about Mandy returning. Having her back will be like having a hurricane happening through Walford. I think there's some really good material coming up for Mandy and Ian. I'm looking forward to seeing her interact with the characters she knows from her original stint - Ian, Pat, Phil, Dot, Bianca, Carol and Ricky and of course will all the newer characters. Nicola Stapleton is a very good actress so I hope there's a plan and some good stories for Mandy. Here's a bit of Mandy trivia for you - Mandy's mother was played by Linda Henry - who knows plays Shirley Carter! Yeah, so roll on Mandy's return...

Heh WalfordFanatic. Bring on Hurricane Mandy :) I didn't know that about Linda Henry!

  • Comment number 6.

Walfordfanatic and Pacman234, I know she isn't new to Eastenders but she is new to me! :) And I am still sick of new characters coming to the square.

  • Comment number 7.

I agree Clare, too many new characters. Who is Mandy anyways? ... I have had enough of Ian, he is really boring and frankly i am not interested in his love life issues or whatever. :/

  • Comment number 8.

Insider_Nickie - I'm named WalfordFanatic for a good reason ha ha! Does this mean I know more that an EastEnders insider? He he only joking, but yeah as you say, roll on Hurricane Mandy :)

  • Comment number 9.

@Daisydoodles12345 Thank you for agreeing with me :D I think Mandy was a icky teen with boyfriend issues or something waaay back. I don't know her either. I just want to see what Janine has in store for us next :D Team Janine XD

  • Comment number 10.

I agree with Clare, I don't know Mandy and I'm sick of new characters. Also, what do you mean by Team Janine? Do you like her or just think she's entertaining. I don't like her but think she's entertaining.

  • Comment number 11.

Cool I dont know who mandy is cause i havent watched it in a while but it looks exciting!

  • Comment number 12.

If Mandy was in the show between 92/94 then why can no one remember her and she does not appear on the past list of characters. Youngest Slater was Zeo.
Stop bringing back all these has beens from the grave. So come on Ö÷²¥´óÐã show us some proof of Mandy in 92/94.

    @anyprint1984
Mandy was in Eastenders. I remember her. She played a bit of a tearaway. You'll see that she was in it as she will know Ian, Pat, Bianca, Ricky, Phil to name but a few. She used to have very long hair and if I remember rightly worked a bit on the stalls. She definately isn't new to Eastenders.

  • Comment number 14.

    sallyh,
If as you say Mandy was in Eastenders why is she not on the Ö÷²¥´óÐã list of past list of characters, and the public do not remember her. ALOT PEOPLE HAVE LONG HAIR. SO AS I SAID BEFORE LETS SEE THE PROOF.

  • Comment number 15.

For all you so called Eastenders fans who can't remember Mandy Salter...

    Glad to see her back.

  • Comment number 16.

Too many new characters coming to Walford. If you give present characters good storylines you wouldn't have to keep adding new ones to make it more exciting.
