Looks like a particuarly boring week if you ask me :L I'm quite enjoying the whole gangster theme going on now with the Brannings and Michael as their errond boy.

This weel seems very exciting!! Not too sure bout new Lucy. I hope some old characters come back soon because i love old characters in the soaps they are so funny. Im not sayin the younger ones are rubbish, they are brilliant actors. I just think Stacey or Peggy or Grant, etc, should come back that would be really good. Hope eastenders bears that in mind if they look at our comments. Do they look at our comments at all or not? I would really like to know. :)

Does anyone yet know how Heather is being killed off this month? I have my doubts on Andrew (he might flip out bearing in mind he is half brother of Nick Cotton...) but I have heard Ben pushes her down the stairs and frames Phil! :O

Can you please give credence to family life - no wonder kids suffer traumas, you are just proving that fathers can disappear and leave their children - bring Ricky back show the country a proper, even if it is dysfunctional, family. David Wicks and Carol - forgiveness and true love, really would have been nice, they are good and can act - for the first time I am finding the programme depressing and frustrating, you are losing the best actors and good story lines after Pat what were you thinking letting Ricky and David go!!!!

I really hate mandy and Ians relationship :S how can ian be so gullable...and mandy ruined bianca and rickys marriage that episode was heartbreaking:(

Yeah, I agree with Elizabeth Cudd's comment above. Why are you letting such good actors go? EE is the biggest soap around. I just don't believe that actors would turn down such jobs! I can't tell you how much EE misses David Wicks. There's so much scope to develop relationships/tension between him and Derck, Ian, Bianca and Ricky. It doesn't just have to be a Carol and David thing. Well done, EE, for pulling out all the stops for Pat's farewell (I do appreciate how hard you worked to get everyone on board) but let's maintain that calibre of acting and intensity. Pam St C's acting was out of this world. Davis and Carol's relationship was gripping. Hard to find elsewhere that purity of love over that time span, tenderness and vulnerability between 2 characters who so happen to act their socks off. Real class! I know that EE likes to portray reality, be hard hitting etc but EE, try not to fall into the trap of being too cynical. Their love clearly inspires many viewers. It's not realistic to portray life as being consistenly angry and bitter. It's simply not. Even if their realtionship survived, it doesn't have to be cosy. It can have lots of bumps along the way. Anyway, I appreciate that you left David's departure wide open (thanks for not killing him off). His motivation for leaving (just running away again or wanting to protect Carol) was ambiguous. He was messed up about burying his Mum (the last word he uttered), had had no time to grieve. Bianca could easily argue his case after that final conversation she has with him. She asked him an impossible question about whether he could guarantee her mum's happiness forever. Who can ever guarantee someone else's happiness forever? It's people's responsibility to look after themselves too, not just depend on someone else to make them happy. Bianca made her mum sound like such a victim (which strips someone of any sexiness or attraction, instead encouraging sympathy)- a daunting task for anyone to take on. Doesn't mean David doesn't love Carol. BRING HIM BACK, please.

A lot of people just say what I am thinking. Yeah, I agree, it is hard to believe how much Ian has changed with Mandy. Completely different person. Jane used to work for him for free, and Mandy gets all those expensive things off him. If a man is stingy and penny counting, he will be stingy with everyone. He does love Mandy, but that does not matter, didn`t he love Jane? Speaking of which, what Lucy did to her is more than nasty, but I don`t blame her. You come back home and there`s this woman spending your father`s money left, right and centre and telling you how he`s wrapped around her little finger - who wouldn`t be angry? Shame Lucy`s actions didn`t change a lot, just showed once again that Ian is a rubbish father. And yes, I agree, instead of taking Amira actress back, EE producers should have made much more effort to make good actors/actresses stay. For example, why Jay gets no story lines? The guy is talented, he can play everything - bitternes and anger, romance, humor etc. And yes, yes, 1000 times yes - David should have stayed!

The show is desperately missing David Wicks. EE, listen to your loyal viewers. Loved the old school East end gangster stuff between Branning boys and David. As for David and Carol- check out the number of hits on You tube. Kind of says it all, doesn't it! Why is everyone carrying on like he's public enemy number 1?Why is Bianca disowning her Dad now with Carol. Don't get it. She was the one who put all that doubt in his mind, in first place. surely, she could fight his corner for him, telling Carol how much in love David seemed to be with Carol. let Carol know that David was threatened with a knife on same day he buried his Mum. His head was totally messed up. Don't make Carol bitter. David loves her. there's still hope for them.

Can I just ask a question? Is Manchester the ONLY place outside of Walford these days?! It seems that we have a whole country at the doorstep of London but the place that everyone seems to go to in Eastenders is Manchester. Now I know it's obvious to me and most of the rest of the UK that Auntie BEEB really has the hots for that northern city but surely the writers can be a tad more imaginative about where people come and go to / from???

What do you think is going to happen Phil because he gets arrested. that will be a shame because he is my faviorate character in the square.

@ Pilky: I agree either Ben or Andrew will be involved in Heather`s death. Ben has turned into this nasty, bitter and angry coward and he hates his father and will do anything at all to make him suffer. And I think Andrew is a bit dodgy - for example, the way he is too keen on Heather, he obviously hides something from his past or even present, and has a bit of temper as well. A bit sad to see Heather leave, but I would leave as well if I was her, as a protest against what the writers are doing to her character (it started from when she had a baby with Darren).

Wow. tonights episode made Ben look so evil. Phil now knows that Ben was stalking him and he got arrested AND it was his birthday! A lot happens in the square, huh? I think Tamwar should forgive Afia, I mean she is nothing like her dad at all, he should be happy that Afia cares about him.

I really hope Tamwar+Afia become happy again, would be devasted to see a happy couple throw everything away because of an EVIL man! And i think Ian need's to throw that little cheating idiot out.. a.k.a Mandy!! i hate her, she's such an idiot! she ruined a perfect relationship between Ricky+Bianca, and now shes not letting Ian and Lucy bond together again.. i dont blame lauren for a drinking.. well after all she had been put through i honestly cannot blame her, shes a GREAT actress! and Phil, ha! hes just an idiot.

yes i agree with tam n afi reconcilling because zainab is the fool adult who allowed everything to get to that horrible stage by hidding the truth to protect her fake reputation. she knew all about yusef evil doings n still covered them just to pretend to people all is well. masood had not laid a finger on her in their 30 years of marriage but will go to extreme to satisfy her,and what did she get from yusef? brutality n abuse, in view of this she doesn`t deserve him.
