Agree with most of the nominations, but I think Pat's Death episode was ten times better than the funeral.
And Who's Stalking Phil was such an ani climax! But I suppose that's the only mystery Eastenders has had recently.

Derek Branning is the WORST Villain/ Actor... i don't know anyone that actually thinks hes even a good actor and his story lines are appalling sorry but loads of complaints are made about him surely he has to go, loads of people have stopped watching eastenders because of him... and im tempted only reason i am watching it is because of Ray is super cute! get the hint and get Derek off!

I don't want Derek to win, I dont think that he is a good actor... he just does not fit the role at all. I hope Max and Tanya will the are the best together...

Why is Yusif not up for best villain?!?! So much better than Derek and was a great story line I though

Haven't been on here in a while but those who think Jamie Foreman is terrible are deluded. Watch his other stuff. You can even catch him on iplayer on doctor who the idiots lantern.

Compare Derek to Andy Hunter years ago, Derek is a far more complicated character. We don't know a lot about Derek but everything will be explained in the same way these people complained about the portrayal of Lauren in 2010.

One last thing eastenders has a very unique style, mostly thanks to BK himself where all the stories are CHARACTER DRIVEN. compare to other soaps last night which had their big storyline where a broken family refuse to come to a head, those stories disengage the relationship with the character and you because the story moves to fast for the character to move with the emotion

What! Jake Wood as best actor now this is against the trade desciption act, he is possibly the worlds worsed actor, damn!! did I say actor now this is something you can't call him. Yes the acting doesn't get any worse than this.

@ ukextra Jake Wood is one of the best male actors on EE right now, he is way better than his on screen brothers and the other actors who usually are nominated such as Shane Richie and Nitin Gantara

Michael French (David Wicks) has to get best comeback because he made Eastenders worth watching and it has gone downhill since he left :(
Jo Joyner should definately get best actress because she has done so well with her cancer storyline!
Tanya and Max should definately get best couple because they are perfect together!
Pats Funeral was definately the best episode, it made me cry so much, hope they all get the awards they deserve :)
But I hope Derek doesn't get an award for best villian because he is a rubbish actor and his character is pointless!!

I agree that everyone/thing that was nominated should have been nominated and reckon alot are going to recive awards. However I think theres a few more people who wernt nominated but should have been though thats just my opinion

Why aren't Michael and Janine nominated for best couple? They're literally the ONLY interesting partnership the show has. Derek is awesome played by a brilliant actor. Lindsey Coulson should be nominated for best actress.

Derek Branning Best Villain??? Yusef should have been Best Villain, Derek Branning is just a panto villain. I`ve had to stop watching EE because of him. I`m not happy with the way the storylines are going either. EE has gone downhill.

i think Derek should go he's awful my little brother has to go to bed early so we can watch EastEnders because he's scared of him... EastEnders is getting boring the story lines are rubbish and the best actor should be jack!!
