Apparently, the actor who plays Derek knows that his character is very unpopular but he says that when another nasty thing said about his character is like a compliment for him as an actor. Maybe, but there is such thing as ratings, and if a lot of people just stop watching EE because they hate Derek too much, maybe that will make the producers realize that they keep getting rid of the wrong people whereas the wrong people stay. For example, apparently the actress who used to play Tiffany Mitchell just wanted a short break, but the producers just killed her character off instead. "Heather" the same. WHY?

abbie_lee11 tyler and whitney have been in it loads lately. they dominated these past two weeks and maybe loads of people you know like them cos they are teenagers themselves. us older viewers appreciate more interesting storylines and better actors. tyler and whitney couldve been interesting from the rob thing but whitney jumping into bed with him so soon has ruined that. i thought she had a problem with it and didn't want to rush?

brunette17 whilst i don't think michael loves janine i think its more than being after her money. i think he wants to control her and make her dependant on him. he was never one who could love easily. he struggles to love his brothers. with janine love seems to have come far too easy for him. theyd only known each other for 3 months before he said it. when she wants to be involved in family things he doesnt include her (she had to nag him to find out what was going on) and he snubs her when theyre supposed to be going out. he says how roxy is better looking than her. when derek beat up michael in the episode after michael wanted to sleep with janine while he was in pain. janine was clearly disturbed but michael wouldnt take no for an answer. while the actors have chemistry i think its not a very natural one and its supposed to look awkward. michael didn't even stand up for janine to jean
