I really don't like Andrew. I'm sure he loves Heather and everything, but he is to violent and risky for Heather. Heather deserves someone who is kind and gentle! Someone who will take care of her and not obsess over her! Also, I hope Phill gets out of jail and puts Ben right!

When Andrew came to the square I just instantly thought plz don't turn out to be a horror!! Can't heather just be happy cos if anyone deserves it its her, but alas it doesn't look like thats gonna happen. I know happiness can be boring to watch but surely one happy story could be excused couldn't it???

i am glad anthony and amira broke up. i think phil should be released from prison maybe they could bring grant and peggy back to help phil with ben

Yes, summer star, Heather will be murdered by Ben right before her wedding. And as I said before, I thought the actress who plays her got fed up with the writers and left, but she actually got kicked out, the producers just didn`t renew her contract - can`t believe it!:( Where are the likable characters, I am asking you? Tamwar and Afia - and that`s it? They all are annoying me now, and so many of them are just disgusting(Derek, Mandy`s mother, Rose etc.)

Why a second dress Heather? I know your a little bit on the short side of money but Dot wants to help you! Andrew is a nice guy but stop he needs trying to think that he knows Heather more than Shirley, she has known her for ages and you've known her 5 minuets.

what the hell was those phil & shirley scenes in the prison? was he really trying to make her feel guilty? was he telling the truth about getting the charges changed?

I am sick of Christian & Syed disappearing for weeks at a time, coming back for a few episodes and then disappearing again for weeks. It's incredibly frustrating for their many fans, they've been treated appalingly in terms of screen time and poorly executed storylines such as surrogacy, adoption and Amira's return. All of which had the potential to be good drama but TPTB were clearly not invested in giving adequate focus to them, to do justice to either the characters or storylines.

I agree with Bigsmile76, most characters are not likeable. I like Syed and Tamwar, Alfie is nice too

I have to agree with those that have said there are few truly nice characters left. It seems they never last long if they are nice. I am very disappointed that Cheryl Fergisons contract was not renewed, and horrified that she will be leaving in a bodybag. Its like poor Danielle Jones all over again. The audience connected with these characters because they added a niceness that is missing in the other characters. Gus was another, but luckily he managed to escape before the scriptwriters had him sucked into a roadsweeper or crushed by a toppling market stall. Whatever happened to Mrs Olubunmi? She didn't even get an exit in a taxi!

Sorry, but must say I am most dissapointed that all of the tv magazines have shown this week that Ben is Heathers killer. I understand that the character of Ben has developed over time, however he is inside, a good kid, and the portrayal of him of late has been very steryotypical of young offenders. I am fully aware that there may be a backstory to this feed, however give the lad a break! Let him be the Ben we originally knew and loved, he has had some hard knocks, but he was never an evil child, change the actor portraying him for a start, he is so angry looking, we need to see him a good light, and know from the love he has received that he is not all bad!

Heather should not be killed of she is a favorite character with many people they should keep these characters in the show for years that's the trouble compared to the old days all good characters leave or get killed of now with in a couple years I think that's a good reason why the show isn't as good as the old days you get use to characters then there gone I know Heather has been in the show for a good few years now but I can think of other characters that need the boot before her. I do have to say I am looking forward to seeing what her last episode is like I just hope Eastenders don't let us down with a rubbish ending to a great character

think the researchers need to do their jobs properly as Andrew just told Heather he got out of nick 18 months ago for GBH, yet not so long back Andrew was seen working the doors with an SIA badge. This wouldnt happen as he has conviction for violence which is automatic refusal for SIA badge

well i would have to say that there are still loads of nice, lovable characters left like Alphie, Fatboi, Dot, Masood, Patrick, Kim and Denice , Antony and Tyler, Abi, Tanya, Mo which add humor to the show. am pleased tanyas results are good :)

Another hen night, another stripper. No stripper for the stag night of course. Yet again EE shows it's sexist double standards. Whenever female strippers are mentioned in EE there are always women/girls saying that it's sexist or it's objectifying women - remember when Tyler, Anthony and Fatboy were going to go to the strip club? Also, when Mikey asked Mandy to strip for Darren's stag night Alfie stopped it, saying 'it's not that kind of pub and Mrs Moon would not be happy' yet Mrs Moon had a male stripper in for her hen afternoon in the pub!! I hate EE giving the message that it's totally fine to have male strippers but it's bad to have female strippers.

Can someone enlighten me about the end of tonight's episode (16th March)? What did Ian say after he said 'He lied' then ......... I have replayed it again and again and still cannot work out what he said! Sure it starts with Phil....... then the duff duffs.

OMG, the image of Rose wearing Heather`s wedding dress is seriously disturbing! OK, she was very drunk, but she was sober when she was writing to that guy in prison and calling Derek "a bit of all right" and being so nasty to Heather! The guy who used to beat her up must have hit her head really hard!
vhairi123, ok agree with you about Masood, Fatboy and Patrick, but Tanya? How about all of those things she did in the past? The fact she has cancer now does not make her nice (it`s good she had all-clear though), and she shares the responsibility with Max for the problems she has with her daughters now, especially Lauren. Alfie is a good guy, but he lost a lot of respect from me when he told Kat - you can cheat on me, just make sure I don`t know about that. What the hell was that? Kim is funny, but over the top sometimes. Would you want your son to get a girlfriend like her?:) And Dot`s character is not as good as it used to be. Remember, she once had the whole episode just for her, she IS Eastenders along with Peggy, Pat, Phil etc. But what the writers are doing to her character now - unforgivable!

Is it really necessary to end Heather's time on ee with her getting murdered? This character has had everything thrown at her, and all of it bad. Why could she have not had a wonderful wedding and then a move away from Walford with Andrew and little George? As an ee fan I feel cheated that this lovely character is not going to get a happy ending. As for Ben, her murderer, he is so far removed from the boy who first came into the show, it's unbelievable, and any shred of sympathy I may have had for him has long gone.
Ee have too many nasty characters at the moment and Derek Branning beats them all. Get rid I say!
On a positive note, I think the most moving moment on ee over the past couple of weeks was the touching exchange between Zainab and Christian. It was beautifully done and I really hope the new 'open minded' Zainab is here to stay. More stories like this please instead of all those confrontations.
