firstly what a bad end to the money storyline I thought that on the wedding day Kat and jean would maybe find some think as proof to nail Michael not just have him confessing all the build up for him just to turn around and end up saying it was me ??? everyone I have talked to agrees it was poor end to a half decent storyline. Also I would like to comment on actually showing a close up of Michael and Janine's baby on Fridays episode was to much with all the tubes etc on the baby I know this happens in real life but I found it a bit disturbing and didn't and don't think Eastenders needs to show this to get across to the audience exactly what is going on in the story

I CAN'T STAND Kat's character! Her outburst to Alfie on Friday was SO HYPOCRITICAL! She said to Alfie "Don't be so weak.... that's the man that slept with your wife behind your back. That got her pregnant, yeah, while you was banged up. He didn't blink an eye. He did that. And he's supposed to be family, your family. Or do you want to pretend he's a great guy and it never happened yeah? Just walk beside him up the aisle? Lovely Alfie, cuddly Alfie, friendly Alfie. You're pathetic as him"

How dare she say that when SHE IS THE WIFE that Michael slept with and she didn't blink an eye lid then! She's supposed to be Alfie's wife! Does she think that she's a great girl? Alfie forgave her and took her back and she's hardly complaining about that. Oh, but he's parthetic for forgiving him and agreeing to be his best man. Her character is truley disgusting. Why people like her I do not understand. If I wrote the script then I'd have Alfie saying, either then or later on: "Yeah Kat I must be weak and pathetic, because I took back the wife who slept with Michael and got pregnant. And I've accepted the baby as my own. But you've never complained about that have you?"

Why did they write Jay's scripts in such a way that he's trying to hold Abi back? I guess after all the Ben and Phill stuff Abi's the only good thing in Walford for him but it also made him look bad and out of character.

@ofcourse - I thought Jay's behaviour was, like you say, a consequence of the pressure caused by his and Ben's secet, making him act irrationally - desperate to hold on to the one good thing in his life, when everything else is ugliness and deceit.

I think it showed that Jay feels inferior to Abi, or out of place with her, and I guess he's worried that if she goes away, or takes her education further, that she'll move on without him. It's not right that anyone should try to control or limit anyone else, but that's how I interpreted it (just my opinion, not the Ö÷²¥´óÐã's)

Nickie - I totally agree. Yes I think I did answer my own comment lol I can understand that he might be feeling inferior especially as max had said to him when Abi had been revising "how many GCSEs did you get?" we know he left school as soon as he turned 16, not doing any exams. Thinking about it, Jay didn't really look as bad as I had said in my previous comment. It was understandable that he's wanting to hold onto Abi so much.
