cannot believe the way phil is treating shirley after everything he's done. he's making her vulnerable and making her loose everything so she comes back to him just so she doesnt tell his secret. what i dont understand is why he showed any emotion during the heather thing. he does not give a damn about her. he has done this before during the prison stuff with the way he spoke to her i wish EE wouldnt make us confused and just made it bloody clear shirley better get revenge on him if he gets away with what he's done and ends up with sharon i will be fuming. will never like him again after this.

I love EE and have watched it from the start. There are some sensitive issues which are well presented and sensitively tackled. However, I DO realise that it's only a soap and that the characters aren't real people! The actors do a fantastic job and the emotions they arouse are very real - it's a credit to them that they can have this effect on people. As much as I feel some of the characters are totally unlikeable, it's sensible to keep a grip on reality and realise they are really not real people! Roll on the next episode!

Sharon is going to be Tanya's sister. Since sharon was adopted by den and angie. She always said her real mother give her up at birth.

And people have said we saw her real mum, the dates arent the same. Wish people would let it drop

No, she wont be Sharon's mum, because she found her biological parents in 1990 but they rejected her, she went back to the Square devastated.

I think whoever Cora's daughter will be may well be black, and this was why she gave her up as back then it was frowned upon to have this happen.

yesterdays EE episode was rlly sad i feel soooo sorry for jay; its bad enough seeing your 'brother' kill your friend and a lovley person then having to lye to his friends and then getting blamed for hevs death and now getting rejected by EVERYONE when he's is succh a lovley charictor and kind of cute!

phil has plenty of time. he is spending time with sharon and he's even at work. hes begging shirley to come back to him and making her vulnerable so she doesnt have anything. is all just to keep himself out of prison.

sharon has already met her real mother many years ago as any true eastender fan will know so there is no way she going to be tanyas sister tanya was told by her mother she was dead anyway

hope that ben goes down big time and phil goes down for withholding information grant should have done a better job when he pushed him into the inspection pit

And now as people can't lash out at Ben because he is in prison, Jay is the one who takes all the beating from everyone at the Square! Billy is simply disgusting! tanya sister is right under her nose and its not sharon they are trying to make you think that. kats lover is phil believe it or not i don't know why they did that phone scene when it none of them thats all im saying

The said sister is out there somewhere, but it's not Sharon, she is too young to be "Ava" and her mothers, both real and adopted, are known, and neither of them is Cora. Could it actually be Shirley? Shirley is as old as "Ava" would be and we don't know much about her childhood or her past. Will she lose one family (the Mitchells) to find another one(Cora and Tanya?)

bigsmilie what did you think of the break up scene? i thought it proved once again phil loves her. what he said to sharon was so telling "but she didnt ask for this, she doesnt deserve this" "that just makes it worse" it would only make it worse for him if he loved her too. he's giving her an awful lot of mixed signals over the next few weeks. he's been doing that for 4 years. id find it very boring and predictable if it turned out he never loved her.

Monalisa, I've always said Phil does care about Shirley, but some guys know how to treat a woman right, and some don't. Phil belongs to the second group. And Shirley is a middle aged woman who never became a grown up. That is another reason why she was such close friends with Hev, who really was just a big good child inside. And that is also the reason why she can't have a mature, happy relationship and sticks with Phil instead. Also, Shirley is 47/48, and "Ava" is the same age if she is alive (and I think she is).

sorry that was a typo i think i was typing it on my ipad lol yeah he does love ben but its a q if he really does love shirley. i think he does deep down and is too stubborn to admit it so he's using anything he can to get her back. those scenes where hes got his phone on her number wondering if he should call her? those are the type of scenes that are so telling and what he said to sharon about shirley yet he is still a bit of an arse to shirley when there is no need.

phil is sick. using ben pleading guilty just to try and get shirley back and all just cos she knows his secret. i thought he said that her loving him made it all worse for him...so surely it would be better just to leave her alone ? is phil now gonna get his happy ever after with sharon? shirley ends up miserable after everything she's done for him.

its quite hilarious that people think tanya and sharon can be sisters. sharons birth mother is Carol Hanley who we met in the early 90's. if they want to make cora cross sharons mother eastenders will have to re write their history. i doubt eastenders will go down that route, look what happened to corrie when they did this with betty.
