not so sure this is going to be very exciting to be honest another storyline to do with a relationship - BORING . Obviously they survive and carry on living in the square . one thing i am hoping is that Derick's suit burns and he never wheres one ever again that way you might see him wearing some think else for a change

Wow! That is unexpected! Actually, if Derek is in hospital after this, maybe it will somehow make Kat confess it was him she was cheating on Alfie with? Also, wasn't Joey supposed to be with Lucy? Ewww, Lauren is his cousin!

Don't think it's Derek Kat is cheating with....I think there will be a massive twist and it'll be someone we haven't even considered.

wow this sound like its going to be a good storyline!!!! But we don't want joey and lauren to turn into another sharon and dennis and we've seen it all before but hopefully it will a good storyline! i'm glad that joey and lauren might be togeather as i hate joey being with lucy!!!!

There was nothing wrong with Sharon and Dennis's relationship as they weren't blood relatives. Sharon was adopted and they didn't grow up together.

As far as the "kissing cousins" storyline goes . . . not so thrilling. Been there, done that EE, with the adopted sister/estranged brother relationship.

I thought the comments were supposed to be about the storyline , not nitpicking peoples spelling and grammar.

Insulting spelling mistakes instead of commenting about future story lines is rather childish i would say. As for the story line it doesn't look as if it's going to be such a big bang after all. Maybe Derek will end up in hospital and Joey may just forgive him for previous mistakes and they may just be able to move on. Kat's story line is boring now and the bbc need to reveal who Kat is with , as this is just dragging ! I'm quite certain it's Max.

I hope, even though she will be absent for 6 months, that it's one of Janine's properties, at least! As for the spelling and grammatical mistakes, if I worked for Ö÷²¥´óÐã and was responsible for reading such posts for whatever reason, I would quickly skip over the ones with mistakes. If one cannot be bothered with spelling and grammar, he/she most likely doesn’t have the mind to which I want to listen.

1) I'm very excited with the whole Joey/Lauren Cousin love storyline because, quite frankly, I've always wanted a storyline like it to happen again since Sharon and Dennis! 2) I'm also excited for the explosive episode! It's about time something explosive happened! I literally love both Joey and Lauren, so I'm really.. REALLY Excited. You can tell that I truly am a HUGE EastEnders fan! But I hope they use a Julia's theme for Christian and Syed's exit, because those two have been an amazing addition to Walford. So Ö÷²¥´óÐã EastEnders, please add it! :) XD

It's great EE are tackling these delicate, controversial issues, I think it injects new life into it. Not that there's EVER a dull moment on EE! Lol!

whippypippy Instead of concentrating on peoples spelling mistakes why don't you concentrate more on the show as you said you don't think it is Derek Kat is cheating with and you think it will be somebody we haven't even considered .If you were a big enough Eastenders fan you would know it is defiantly one of the suspects. so stop commenting on other people and worry about what you writing as you sound stupid you obviously don't no much about the show I think countdown forum might be better for you I agree with binary, get a life. and sgtrev you need to get one as well you have odiously not got any good or bad criticism to write about the show so you look for peoples spelling mistakes - pathetic .

I'm pretty excited for this. Yes EE has done a story-line similar to this, but it was years ago, and with a new generation viewing each week I think it would be good for those to see this type of story-line. I'm only 18 and I vaguely remember the Dennis/Sharon relationship, but I do remember it. Younger viewers won't have seen this type of thing and this may come into younger peoples lives. I think EE is doing a great job bringing this type of story-line back into the soap.

And to people who disagree with this story-line.. As everybody says, you can't help who you fall in love with, family or not. This is 2012, a new generation of people who have very different views on things, but I do not see what the big deal is with this story-line.

So my random guess....the Kat reveal cant be far off now (either just before or after this). It's looking pretty definite that the culprit there is Derek (it certainly aint Max or Jack!) and this storyline will somehow tie in with all that...Derek saves Joey and Lauren but maybe gets seriously injuried himself....hence Kat getting involved.
