I like the fact that Sharon and Tanya are now friends. They could be new Tanya and Jane! :) Seriously, they both have been through so much, they have quite a few things in common, they both need a friend, so they shouldn't be fighting, they should be mates. But I have always said there is no way they are sisters.

bigsmile what do you think of the phil & sharon stuff? inside soap annoyed me claiming he still loves her. if he did he wouldnt be so depressed & lost without shirley. he doesnt look happy in that pic and theres another one where hes doing a really big fake smile. last week proved he loved shirley when he couldnt take the drink he's obviously putting on a front infront of sharon

Anyway, Monalisa, I have always said that Phil does care about Shirley but he keeps making horribly wrong choices such us drugs and covering up for Ben after Hev's murder, he is just that kind of person. BTW, what I don't understand is how come Peggy used to be so controlling and interfering towards her family, and now she just isappeared from their lives completely. She doesn't even know that her adored grandson is in prison for murder! I do like Barbara W., but the writers should have killed Peggy off, she is not coming back.

Dont c why those things should make a difference i dont want him getting away with what hes done to shirley he should be miserable and depressed cos shes gone if he moves on quickly i want her to get revenge on him

Monalisa: I know, Phil does bad things to people, including Shirley, but I wouldn't call his life a happy one. Peggy was a bad mother, didn't teach her children what's "right" and what's "wrong" but Phil suffers too for what he does. He lost his daughter. And Ben ... Phil is homophobic, so he was devastated to find out that his son is gay, and then to find out that he is a psycho and a murderer too. AND Ben was trying to send Phil to prison! And I don't think when Phil was taking drugs he was enjoying life too much! He was doing it to pass out and to forget that his life is rubbish. As for Shirley, no one have been forcing her to stay with Phil and suffer. Her problem is that she is a middle aged woman who never matured. She needs drama. And gets it.

he forced her to come back everytime. after the drugs he used emotional blackmail to get her back. then when she tried to walk away after he cheated he begged her to stay. no noone pinned her down to tell her to stay but did she have much choice when he begged her? he knew she loved him but everytime he begged her back. i dont want him to quickly move on from her and act like he only ever used her. i want him heartbroken and destroyed that she's left. if he carries on fine then it goes against what i said. he'll end up in a happy ever after with sharon if he doesnt love shirley and i dont want that

Something tells me it's not Max either, it wasn't Kat who was calling him when his phone rang, it was Tanya maybe wondering where he was. On the other hand, it has to be Max. Because he was the one who was hurt in the fight at the Vic, so was he the guy who Kat was helping? Also, it can't be Jack as Jack doesn't need to rent a flat to see Kat, he has enough women to come and see him at his place. And we only saw a shadow of Kat's lover, and this shadow didn't look like it was Derek's shadow. Another Slater woman for Max or what?

derek is controlling kat and thats why she's confused. he is very like how harry was (hence his mention tonight ) and she's always said she uses sex and is confused with love.

MrsMichaelFrench: Well, I wouldn't rule Max out either. He is about to set a date of his wedding, but so what? Maybe he is doing it out of guilt? According to all the spoilers, Max and Tanya are about to fall out with each other big time - again, and what would be the reason? Max has been a bit weird lately. What was the envelope (with the money?) that he dropped in a post box? Was it rent money for his love nest for another month? And it seems to be his habit to rent a flat for his mistress when he is having an affair. And Tanya did complain that he has been a bit distant.

max has a secret about what he got up to in manchester. thats why he feels guilty they already had a secret lined up to him i guessed ages ago it probably wouldnt be him.

It's Max. The key for the flat, the fancy one, well it's the same as he gave Tanya when he was running around with her behind Vanessa's back. Also, spoilers are out that Tanya and Max's wedding isn't all she would hope for. Shane Ritchie revealed that we'll find out who the man is around Christmas and the wedding is just before Christmas. Jake (whatever, Max) said that it will be a Branning Christmas so there will be a big storyline there.

This story has gone on for too long though and it's becoming boring. In the last year or so stories on Eastenders have gone on too long, Ben waiting to be caught for Hev's murder, the baby kidnap one too.

Just do a story and move on, the suspense isn't good it's painful to watch and leaves me yawning. Just get the Kat affair story over and done with and get Dot back.

if it was max why bother with the secret about mancheter? they have done this with every other suspect. ray was being suspicious with kim, michael was with janine, max is with tanya and then i bet jack is with sharon. its so derek. the harry mention tonight was a subtle hint

im not sure who kats lover is. we saw his foot which had ginger hair on it:/ and then his hand which was really tan, then his shadow which was tall and slim:o that was all played by extras of course as kat herself doesnt even know who it is either!

theres a chance it could be fatboy if you remember why was kat angry of affie for giving fatboy a job in the vic then why does kat act funny around fatboy if you noticed i know hes way too young but she did say she was sick and when kats lover put his hand on kats face it was brown i went though it its does look like fatboys hand and he did get thrown around a lot at the pub fight have a look at there hands.

Fatboy is Kat's lover? What are you talking about guys? Someone who's just been fired from cheap chips and chicken place rents a flat to see his mistress there? You do make me laugh. I think it's between Max and Derek now. Look at how Kat ran to look out of the window to see the Branning brothers leave the pub. It's obvious now that one of them is her lover and she wanted to see his reaction to her phone call.

all i know its not max or derek when has ever eastenders picked the most obvious choice like sharon being tanya sister one said im 100% sure its sharon and gess what it wasn't and this time is no different its got too be a shocker all it wouldn't make eastenders or a doof doof.

Friday's episode was pretty badly written. What a disappointment it was when, after everything, Alfie actually agreed to just go and randomly drive away with Kat.

No interesting story-lines have happened this year, except very short or ones with disappointing/annoying endings. Some of the acting has gone downhill, too. Even Shane Richie (Alfie)'s acting on Friday was unimpressive, and I found it harder this year than in any other year to suspend my disbelief.

I think I need the Ö÷²¥´óÐã to start broadcasting a new drama with uplifting story-lines.

Like a vets version of Casualty/ Holby City. That would be interesting to see ^_^

Poor Syed, he is only making things so much worse. I hate to thing how hurt and disappointed in him, the Masoods will be, when they find out he has taken money from the family again. I really hope everything gets sorted out before Christian & Syed leave, it would sad if he leaves his family again on bad terms.
