Shane Richie to star in Radio 2 Drama!
听主播大秀 Radio 2 is set to air an hour-long pilot for new music radio drama, Shout to the Top, starring our very own听Shane Richie!
Shout to the Top, which will air on September 25 at 10pm, is the story of an 80鈥檚 girl band trying to break into the tough music business. Shane plays Vince; a pub land lord (well we all know he can do that well!), passionate amateur singer and the dad of the band鈥檚 lead singer, Rain.
When a record company comes knocking, Vince jumps at the chance to be the bands鈥 manager to give the girls some credibility.

鈥淚t was a great honour and a wonderful opportunity to be asked to be part of this drama for Radio 2.听The script is fantastic and I was surrounded by some wonderful new talent which I am sure we will see more from in the future.鈥
