Lovely photos. However just wondering why they have official press photographs when Christian and Syed never had official photographs with just the two of them and they have had a hugely successful relationship and storyline for over three years. It seems that every couple gets official couple photographs except for Chryed, I mean the characters even got married last week and they still did not have any official promo photos. The only difference I can see between Chryed and all the other couples in Eastenders is that Christian and Syed are both men and if this is the reason they have not been given a joint photoshoot then I find that incredibly disappointing.

This is an absolutely fabulous shoot, and Jacqueline looks absolutely stunning. However, I agree with the above commenter - Lauren and Joey have not even kissed and we have these amazing photoshoots, and yet Christian and Syed have never had a single photoshoot with just the two of them (away from ex-wives, babies etc). Last week, Christian and Syed had EastEnders' FIRST EVER Civil Partnership, a major cultural move forward for the show, and yet they received no promotional pictures or photoshoots (save a few spoiler pictures and episode screencaps, as are put out for every episode). I would understand if this was commonplace, but I think they are the only couple in recent years to have gotten together, engaged or married without one single promotional photo of them as a couple. The only thing that sets these two characters apart from every other couple, such as Lauren and Joey, is that they are two men. EastEnders should be fairly representing all of their relationships, and this includes treating their same sex relationships as equal to other relationships in their promotional material. I find it quite sad, and very disappointing, that Christian and Syed have been so blatantly ignored by EastEnders in this respect.

These are gorgeous photos but I agree with both elphaba and MercuryPheonix. Such a shame that Christian and Syed never had promotional shoots as a couple when there plenty of opportunities to do so, and when they're such a well-established couple in a long term relationship with a large fan base. The most interesting aspect of their relationship was never the fact that Syed had a wife yet for some reason she was in all of their promo photos. I can't think of any reason for Christian and Syed not to have had a promo shoot for their groundbreaking Civil Partnership last week other than the fact they're both men. It's always been claimed by the Ö÷²¥´óÐã that Christian and Syed are treated the same as other couples, but if this is the case then why has there been no evidence of this in promotional photos?

I have to agree with the above posters. These photos are great, but the fact they've been done with a couple that haven't even been established onscreen yet whilst Christian and Syed never received a single photoshoot by themselves in their three and a half years of being romantically involved is confusing and more than a bit disappointing. When every single couple getting married (or even planning to, but not making it as far as the vows, as was the case with Ian and Mandy and Darren and Jodie) receive a photoshoot except for Chryed, I'm left wondering what the reason is. It's less to do with seeing pretty pictures than it is the equality, and seeing them treated like every other couple on the Square. Unless there is a specific reason Christian and Syed didn't get a wedding photoshoot apart from the fact that they're two men?

Beautiful pictures... of yet another heterosexual couple - if they can even be called a couple that is! Would've been lovely if Christian & Syed had received the same treatment to celebrate their recent wedding, such a shame they both had to be men.

Luckily for "Joey" he is so good looking that he doesn't have to act.;) As for "Lauren", I am glad she got rid of that horrible fringe. It had to go!

These are absolutely gorgeous photos but just as the above posters say; a couple like Syed and Christian, with a storyline running for three and a half years have NEVER had any promotion photoshoots of their own, not for the first three years and now not for their Civi Partnership (a first for EE) and now not for their exit, which is merely weeks away. I wonder why this is and I wonder how Ö÷²¥´óÐã and EE can claim that they treat all their characters the same when that clearly seems to not be true. The very, very best of luck to Marc Elliott and John Partridge, you will be remembered by many, many whose hearts you've managed to touch with your story and your performances.

Pictures of Joey and Lauren are nice, but would be nice to have pictures of the two most good looking actors in Eastenders - Saed and Christian. If you really want to look glam and hollywood, use the two people that have that star quality.

The pictures of both of them are really preety but i dont think they would suite each other, i would like photoshoots of Syed and Christian and I am so sad they are leaving Eastenders. Also they are really good actors.

I think that the pictures are really good, but are we not forgetting that they are related. it would also be good to see one of Christian and Syed.

ok, Joey & Lauren are cousins, and they are making them a secret couple, which tells me that one of them is NOT a Branning, either Joey or Lauren's father isnt who fathered them, interested to see the fallout on this..Joey is another Dennis Rickman character..thats obvious I think, a stud with a heart..EE is recycling story lines, ala Kat & Zoey, Dennis & Sharon, secrets, etc. some commented on Chryed, and they are leaving?? Christian's hair style now is not attractive at all..he looks kinda ridiculous with the blond flop on top, and he is sooo handsome, why the hair doo?? Sy is a jerk anyways, but now he is really on my last nerve..get rid of him. Someone wrote that Kat is boinking Derek?? OMG no, please..I like Derek enough, but cannot believe Kat would want him, if so, then she is a hot mess..lol..and if Stacey is coming back, then why would she just have started filming her new show?? I again read some of these comments and shake my head in confusion..first, everyone is entitled to their opinion, right? Second, it is rude to call those who are interested in the Chryed photos a bunch of whiners, it is true that EE hasn't stepped up to bat on that, third, I admit Joey is a good looking kid, but please, he isn't so gorgeous that his personality doesn't matter, and he can be a jerk, esp with Lucy..and yes, I can see the chemistry between him and Lauren, but we all know that there is more to the story, obviously they aren't actually related, someone is not who they think they are, i.e. a Branning,, so whoever was freaked out cuz they are related, think about it..would EE actually have characters know they are related, and show/allow an incestuous relationship?? let the writers figure out their jobs and wait and see how this pans out.. as far as EE and its gay residents..well can someone come up with a lesbian couple that has gotten that much airtime on EE? Right, there hasn't been one, a real one yet..Corrie at least had Sophie & Sian, and they had a huge following,,c'mon EE, fling open the closet doors and bring on a lesbian couple and other gay/lesbian characters..even German show VL has developed more lesbian/gay characters..c'mon EE...:)

Actually chryed got their own revealed show and two short episodes that were shown on the red button thats very rare so i think chryed got an awful lot more than some couples
