Heather was all set for a happy ending after planning to elope听with soulmate Andrew... until Ben Mitchell paid her a visit and a heated exchange resulted in her untimely demise.

Eternally unlucky in love Ian knew that his relationship with Mandy was going nowhere... but that didn't stop him getting himself further and further into debt to try and buy her love. His behaviour grew increasingly more erratic after Ben revealed to him the truth about Heather's murder, and when Mandy left, it was all too much for Ian.

During Ray's launch at the boxing gym, tensions continue to rise between Joey and Derek. Derek warns Joey that no matter what he does, Alice will always come running back to him.

Fed up of his dad's controlling ways, Joey decides to play Derek at his own game. Whilst the launch is underway听there is a sudden crash in the locker room before Joey staggers out with blood pouring from his nose. Max, Jack, Lauren and Alice look on with disbelief at Derek, who insists that he didn't do anything... but no one believes him!

You'll already have witnessed Kim's... er... 听relaxed approach to health and safety in her online spin-off series, reality/documentary Kim's Palace (watch all episodes here).

Consequently, the documentary team behind听 'The B&B - Kim's Palace' have been saddened (but not听altogether surprised) to learn that the Kim's Palace kitchen has been forced to close after a surprise visit from the Environmental Health Inspector.

A source from Environmental Health was quoted as saying " I wouldn't even let my听dogs stay the night. And that's saying something as they're听not fussy where they sleep".

The reality/documentary series 'The B&B - Kim's Palace'听 followed self proclaimed "ruthless and ambitious" businesswoman Kim as she听went about her day to day听tasks at the East End bed and breakfast.

Kim offered tips for success听and explained her听ideas for the expansion of her brand... plans which surely must be scrapped in the wake of recent events. Unless mould spores and mouse droppings were part of her business plan... We wouldn't be surprised if they were. Watch all episodes of Kim's Palace now.

Meet Khali Best, who is joining the EastEnders cast as twenty year-old Dexter Hartman.

Dexter's the son of Ava, the daughter that Cora had adopted when she was younger. News of Ava's casting was revealed in September. Dexter will come searching for his new extended family in January 2013 - what will he make of what he finds?

鈥淚 am delighted to be joining the cast of EastEnders," said Khali of his new role. "Working with such great actors so early in my career is an amazing opportunity. I am really excited to see what the writers have in store.鈥�

EastEnders' Executive Producer, Lorraine Newman, added: 鈥淒exter is a force of nature: cheeky, forthright, confident but highly protective of his mum and vice versa. He鈥檒l work at the Arches and be a great mate for Jay and Lola. I am sure he鈥檒l be hugely popular with the audience.鈥�

We听gave听YOU the chance to quiz Walford's business guru, Kim Fox, star of reality documentary series, Kim's Palace: The B&B听(available to听watch here now).

Kim very kindly took time out from her hectic schedule to answer a selection of your questions.

ANGELA LOWTHER: I have an idea on how to stop kids getting out of their car seats, how do I go about actually doing it?

KIM: My advice is "Don't have them!" (kids, that is). But if you do have kids, a good way to stop them getting out of the car seat is to leave them at home (the kids that is, not the car seat!).

Best advice I can give is to photocopy all your drawings, scribbles, cost details, anything听 and everything that was used in the creation of your product and post the copy to yourself听 but do not open it. This is a form of copyright should someone try to steal your idea

Another suggestion is that if you have the time and you don't desperately need to go to the shops, you should walk to your destination. Let the kid feel every pebble in the concrete as they take that long walk. Then give them some shopping to carry home. After that trip I guarantee that they will not want to get out of their car seat (that's what Denise did to Chelsea, it worked!). Good luck.

RACHEL LOYN: Would a spray tan business get me rich?

KIM: Rachel, it all depends on location, clientele and if you yourself would do it or have it done to you.听If you have it done yourself, you could be the walking advertisement for your company.

When you look good, people always want to know your secret. For me: "I look this good because I have a great night's sleep every night at KIM'S PALACE". For you: "I look this good because I spray myself!" BTW I'm working on my own brand of tanning lotion. It might be called KIM'COLURE with a French accent. It a hazelnut chocolate brownie color - look out for it!

Other things to consider are - what are the benefits of where you would like to set up? Who do you envision to be your customers - your target market? Will you love doing the spray tans day in, day out, or will you get someone else to do it? I know that's a lot to think about but, in short, will it get you rich?

Look away now if you want to be left in the dark regarding this Christmas/New Year's EastEnders storylines!

The New Year will start on a sombre note (for some) with the funeral of Walford hard man Derek Branning after a Christmas of explosive storylines.

Since arriving on The Square, Derek has established himself as quite an intimidating figure. Most notable of his dastardy deeds were: stealing from Lucy Beale, running both David Wicks and Anthony Moon听off the Square, revealing the truth behind Dennis Rickman's murder to his young son, Denny, and generally making his family's lives a nightmare.

How will the Walford villain meet his maker? Who will be grieving and who will be rejoicing in his untimely death?听You'll have to keep watching to find out!

All by himself

It goes from bad to worse for Syed as听his precious Yamin is being taken away to live with mum Amira in Birmingham. How will Syed cope without her?

Can they work it out?

After being tricked into meeting at the Argee Bahjee, Syed and Christian are forced to talk things through...听will this rollercoaster of a relationship finally get a happy ending?
